Lately I've been mad tired during the day, I could fall asleep standing up. I have no energy to get things done. Then when it comes time to actually go to sleep, I can't fall asleep for the life of me and end up just laying there or tossing and turning until the wee hours of the morning, only to start the cycle all over again. Why? Does anyone else have this problem?
I had the exact problem. It was horrible. My temporary solution was Nyquil. The NIGHT i drank that stuff, i had a good 6 hours sleep if i remember. That felt like heaven.
Try not to get anxious about sleeping. Just go to bed and close your eyes and DO NOT think about falling asleep and do not try to think about nothing. Just relax your mind and think about something peaceful, like a landscape. I fall asleep within 30 minutes now!
BTW, if u can't fall asleep within 30 minutes, chances are, u won't be falling asleep for the next two hours if u stay in bed. So get up for a few minutes, go to the bathroom, maybe. Then go back to bed and you can try again.
