Fast and the Furious was a mockery of the street racing scene, and technically a horrible movie. That's not to say it's without some entertainment value. That being said, I can see why so many people were disappointed with the movie (flawed physics, poor acting, idiotic plot) but you gotta realize it's not gunning for an Oscar.
Should be the same with Triple X. Lots of explosions, stupid dialogue, cliche'd plot, but still fun. I can't see why some people here insist on hating every movie that requires an IQ of less than 40 to enjoy. Do you keep your television tuned to CSPAN or Bloomberg too? I bet you people are the life of the party.![]()
<--- hates people who don't know how to have fun
THANK YOU! I cannot agree with this guy more! People need to realize what kind of movie they are going to see before they see it. Yes, fast and furious had horrible dialogue, had horrible actors, and possibly a horrible plot (i thought it was a neat idea), but you gotta expect what you are going to see. That movie was all about cars and thats it. And like this guy said, it was just an entertaining movie, and yes it's not expecting an oscar. It never was intented to. It was intended to get people to go watch cars they don't normally see, and to have a fun time with cars like that. I know that everytime I see this movie again, it gets cheesier and cheesier. But at the same time, thats what makes it fun, talking about how cheesy it is or whatever.
All in all, I think as a movie fast and the furiuous is pretty sad. But as a source of fun entertainment, it is a great way to spend an hour and a half or so.
Is it possible that some people didn't even think it was entertaining? i sure didn't it was not only sad, it was booooooring too... at least to me...
