it's really not high up, the pic is misleading. Actually when I lean back in my chair it is more comfortable now than ever since it is in the optimal angle and height. pictures cannot do this setup justice, only your bum planted in the seat with mouse and keyboard in hand.
:music: I also want you guys to know that I didn't go out and blow all kinds of money for this either, nor would I because it clearly isn't for everyone but it sure is nice and I'm getting used to the versatility. I can switch from gaming 3way on the 20's to just the 24 in as easy as changing the primary screen to the 24 or the middle 20 in the windows display properties or nv control panel. After that as long as you have the softTH.cfg file setup properly it's smooth sailing. Seriously, 3 mouse clicks can dictate 5040x1050 or 1920x1200. You would be surprised at how many games the GTX 280 can handle too at that kind of res!!
SO... I originally had just one 2005fpw that i sold:brokenheart: to my roomy when i got my 2407 2.5 years ago.
Back in january or so i got the itch for a dual setup so i could run temp programs and do other stuff on my computer when i had a game going. Found a guy selling a 2005fpw for a good price
😎so I picked it up.
A couple months later my roomy that i had sold my 2005fpw to, wanted a new video card and a 1080p screen so i traded my "spare" hd4870 for the 20 incher:gift:. That put me to the 3 way setup, which i never really liked too much cause it wasn't practical
😱.
I only wanted 3-way for softTH and having mismatched monitor sizes made it a little trippy although you could configure to be bearable.
***** FYI if you don'y know what softTH is look it up, Awesome,Awesome program*****
Fast forward to a few days ago and my dad telling me that he was gonna throw away his 2005fpw cause the screen was flickering(which it was severly to the point where you couldn't even make out what was on the screen). I figured :light: hell, I could at least use it for parts for my other 2. Needlees to say, when i fixed it with a little soldering action I was thrilled, and haven't stopped grinning ever since
😀
