For some reason I can't do a search, so sorry if this has been asked before....

A 'friend' of mine suggested last night I look into Trigenics for my neck pain/tension/issue*. I hadn't heard of it before, so I did a little research this morning and found enough negative opinions to make me hesitant.

Before I either waste my time and money trying it, or dismiss it too soon as garbage, I am curious if anyone else has any helpful opinions about it (or ideas for alternatives).

*Quick background: Every 8-12 months (rough guess) my neck seizes up somehow. Sometimes during exercise, other times just turning my head. It is painful and I lose most of it's mobility for about 2-3 days. It hurts from about mid neck, down through my back under my shoulder blade. This last week I started p90x and since the day after the yoga session my neck feels very tense on the right side. It hasn't seized in the same way, but I'm worried it will soon if I ignore it. I went to the pool to sit in the hot tub that night which helped incredibly, but the tension is returning, even after stretching often.

Seems like snake oil to me. They claim that it "instantly relieves pain." While it may be effective, almost nothing instantly relieves pain unless the root of the problem is fixed. Since it's something to do with your neck, I suggest getting a prescription for physical therapy from your doctor. The physical therapist can break up scar tissue with massage, mobilize vertebrae that aren't moving well (which may cause muscular overuse), re-train your posture, re-train how you move, etc. The whole Trigenics things just seema little hokey to me.
