In the past, they probably alternate. Both companies have promised better hair techniques.

Another nonsensical post.

lol I'll add my own...

I found it slightly disturbing when I saw the name of the shampoo and thought "TRESemmé".

Anything that advances realism is a plus in my books, will it be something real and if so will it be proprietary? I wonder if it would work in existing games too!

This is actually one of my big problems with current games (graphically speaking)... Even the best games usually have terrible static hair

I think only asian devs like Square and Capcom bother doing nice looking hair (the stuff on Luminous engine is looking great)

Its about time they started focusing on it

Well, we'll see if they can deliver on that. Don't go celebrating yet till we see whatever it is. I think its going to be in Tomb Raider?

This would definitely be good for Sims and elder scrolls/fallout games. Nothing quite like having longhair that cuts through your shoulders :D

Because first person shooters, racing, RTS? doesn't need it. You simply can't see it. :hmm:

Eat your heart out Physx.

Coming to 2 titles a year near you.

And why everyone should use this only for hair when Physx SDK has everything in one place?

It may be more than just good hair, but a full package similar to PhysX. We'll find out in a few days.

This is obviously aimed to counter physx. Well they already do with being on every console. Next years will be a real pain for nvidia.

Very welcomed to see more abilities that may offer dynamic fidelity with GPU Processing!

Thanks! Awesome! So excited to see Havok talk about GPU Processing again! With more players, may finally break the chains of the static ways of the past.
