Compared to Spider-man 3, Shrek 3, Ocean's 13, Bourne Ultimatum, Pirates 3, etc, it was rather original for this summer, don't you think?
No, It was a Michael Bay film.
get over yourself the movie was good
It sucked balls
You're in the minority, and the minority is quite small in this instance.
That has nothing to do with how correct I am
fixed
the movie was not an award winning movie (except for maybe best integration of CGI characters into a real world/special effects), but it was definitely enjoyable and had a lot of good in it. to say otherwise is comical, because that means you don't want to be entertained.
do you really believe the movie was not entertaining? This is Transformers for christ's sake, do you expect an epic and moving film? I mean, while there is backstory to each transformer, it's something that doesn't translate to film when said film is meant to be a summer popcorn flick. Many diehard Transformers fans were still impressed with the overall movie. There is only so much you can do before you alienate the audience you need to make something of such scope an affordable and profitable project. But even without an explanation like that, it's still an entertaining movie nonetheless.
Jesus, my parents enjoyed the movie! My parents don't like movies that are senseless, things most teenagers these days go to see. And when I worked at the theaters this summer, I don't really even remember ONE person coming out of that movie disappointed. So, indeed, you are in the minority.
(damn why do I always write books for something that could be said in a few lines? too wordy)

I liked seeing it at the IMAX despite the incredibly lame added scenes.
Megan Fox's bellybutton was as big as my head.
are the theaters you go to equipped with small screens or something? The IMax theater I went to (housed in an AMC theater), had a screen that was equal to the normal screens at the National Amusements theater I worked at (keep in mind, those individual theaters each sat on between 250 and 490). But the picture was immensely superior.
as far as the added scenes, I would have much rather seen added scenes with the autobots or decepticons, however the individual character additions weren't horrible imho. They actually gave a little more depth to how much of a douche Sam was to his friend

hey, dude just get in my car. and then later, dude, you have to get out man, just do it. even though i dragged you along, i'm kicking you out here too. lmao
i actually laughed when that part came together.
but honestly, right now that's the only added scene that I really remember. the other ones I thought were good at the time, but cannot for the life of me remember them now.
