This is pathetic, Rip. Give it up.

40 years ago a soldier received 3 purple hearts - it doesn't even matter what the circumstances were because its not like he got them in preparation for a presedential run at that time, and your gutless over-priveliged monkey-faced prez was hiding out under daddy's wing at the time.

Oh, I think that he was preparing for a career in politics at that time. How many Vietnam vets do you know took home movies to reenact their heroism?

You don't believe that Kerry had political aspirations back when he was serving in Vietnam?

I have some land in Florida you might be interested in.

And therefore he was able to fake three purple hearts? Give it up, troll. Kerry's still got more courage in his pinky than your unelected goon.

At least show a little repect for the office.

Guess you don't know a lot about flying fighter jets do you? It's not exactly a safe endeavor. Bush excelled at it by the way.

That's why he scored the bare minimum needed to be able to fly and then later failed the physical?

Wow...yeah...Bush was so brave jumping ahead of hundreds of others on the waiting list with his daddy's help. Bush should have gotten TWO Silver Stars!!

You have personally seen those movies? From the reports I have read they are very bad travelogues of the same type that many military personnel take.

Actually he never was given the required flight physical and so lost his ability to fly.

They dont show him AWOL either.
No, they don't. So, why doesn't Bush set the record straight and release all of the records?

What's he hiding? Hmmm?

I took home movies all the time.. cuz being a coward no one would believe I was even there... unfortunately I held the camera and the folks I filmed were the hero ... every last one of them.

Why? Haven't you heard of "The Big Lie?" Hitler and his nazis used it to their advantage to gain power in pre-WW II Germany. Joseph Goebbels, Hitler's Minister of Propaganda was a master of the Big Lie. In fact, he is quoted as saying, "If you tell a lie, tell a big one."

It works like this -- Someone, or some group, with an agenda publishes a lie that supports their point. The bigger the lie, the better, and they cook up enough pages of bogus background story to make it sound credible. In this day of the Intenet, they might even put up a website like this one.

Then others with a similar agenda, who want more than anything to believe the lie, repeat it. They may even quote from the website, claiming it as proof of their bogus assertions. Some of these idiots even cut and paste entire pages from such garbage sources to discussions on Internet Forums, hoping against reality that enough people will be taken in by the sheer volume of bullsh8 that they might start to doubt reality.

The most important defense against The Big Lie is to use all legal means to quickly and credibly publicize the truth, including credible witnesses and documentation.

Of course, since we're bright enough to be geeks on a computer related forum like AT, nobody on this forum would be stupid enough to post that kind of crap, let alone fall for it if anyone else was dumb enough to post it.

It has nothing to do with "wanting." Bush is already a failure.
Winning elections is all that counts.
If you honestly believe winning elections is all that counts, you don't understand anything about the United States of America, and your opinion simply counts for nothing.

 :p

good point, I was just watching the 15. july daily show and there he goes into "talking points" and ends with, "talking points are true because they are said alot" ... in a sarcastic way ofcorse ;)

As I've posted in other threads, the absence of any documentation that Bush was paid during the time he was supposedly flying in Air National Guard exercises strongly suggests that, instead of flying airplanes, it looks like chicken hawk Bush just flew the coop.

No, not all of the records have been released.

The latest release was due to the AP lawsuit and it still didn't answer the question as to Bush's gap of service.

I am not disagreeing with that statement. But as far as I can tell from that article all documents have been released. And there is still no evidence of AWOL charges or anything other than an honorable discharge.

What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? It's not Bush's job to prove anything, its the other guys job to prove otherwise.
