thanx! when i went on their site..it gives me the option to select it...so i think im in the clear..but we will have to see when the order is processed.

edit: i ordered it a couple days ago...anticipating this...i had 350$ to spend on a motherboard and videocard so it was the best option for me even if i cant step up.

if they let me step up...man...im gonna shave evga into the side of my dog.

I had actually bought an eVGA card not knowing about step-up. I bought a 7800GT CO from NewEgg for $295 on January 19, 2006.

I think I will defintely look into this! Thanks.

Yes, it's on the box. According to the evga site, it's on the card too (But I can't be bothered to confirm)

I don't have my card here at work, but IIRC it should be on the back just under the window. Mine, at least, even included a disclaimer that I should verify that the serial # on the box matches the one on the card before opening it.

Do they cross ship? Or do you have "RMA" them your card and they will eventually send you a new one in a few weeks? I will go for either the GT CO or GT CO SUPER.

Man, I chose the 7900GT CO because I didn't want to pay $350+ for another when I go SLI. Oh well the CO should be able hit the SuperClock speeds with an aftermark HSF.

You have to "RMA" the card and then they ship the new card a few days after they receive yours. Luckily, it looks like they won't even begin the process until they have the new card in stock, so we shouldn't have to wait too long, in theory. At least I hope not, I don't think that my wife will know what to do with me if I'm hanging out with her for more than a week :p

Yeah, but don't forget the queue .. which should grow very fast as people get to know about the program

Once you apply in step-up, the next time when you go to the same screen, it'll show you your queue number. What are you stepping up from and to, VoteQuimby?

Just FYI--Unconfirmed report that the GTX Superclocked won't be part of the step-up program.
*EDIT* Nevermind. Looks like a moderator was being a little overzealous.
