Why don't we all propose to turn the freeways into autobahns? Germany has them. They relieve traffic stress, because everyone is able to move much faster without fear of the fascists coming along, and less people are on the road as a result.

Nope. I've seen them too. Police getting fancy with digital radios and shit 😛 They only have one smallish black antenna on the back half of the roof....but lots of cars have that nowadays.

In my locale the fuzz use hopped up chevy's with 22's and draulics, and even riceburners. They actually try to race you in the riceburners, revving motor and clutching at the light, then pull you over for racing. Also saw cop escalade, mustang, vette, camaros, hummers (with spinners), and we even have cop cigarette boats. But than again this is south FL.


Oh yeah, no antennas at all - and regular plates. My buddy works with the city - they use their handhelds in those cars and call for help if they need to use the puter system.

Another thing I've noticed around here; usually when one of these unmarked cars pull someone over, the subject looks like someone the INS / Border patrol would be interested in. Yes we have lots of migrant workers here due to our large agricultural trade.

I have seen several "stealth" marked Chargers in Texas. Mostly in use by county sheriffs departments. Can't tell that they are a cop car until you pull up beside them. Even had normal plates on them.

I'm not sure if it was hybird, diden't pull up behind it. And autobahn's would be a good solution to traffic problems and clearing vast open spaces quickly in North America, but that means that:

1. Driver education would need to be revamped and testing harder to filter out retards.

2. SUV's would suffer fuel economy wise, crossing 140 an hour is crazy taxing.


But autobahn's are never going to happen, the government and people upstairs love reaping the benefits of everyone wasting more money staying bumper to bumper. More car repairs, more accidents, more time wasted, more tired, more easily controlled, etc. It's the same principle as motorcycle insurance in Ontario, which is crazy expensive if some of you read my other posts.

We have a red Charger SRT-8 that says on the rear in matte black "Got meth? We got your car." It's nearly impossible to see the letters unless you're behind it at a stop light. It's one of probably 3 chargers in that color in my town, so I have more or less stopped speeding anywhere.

The more annoying thing though is all the people that buy the ex-cop cars. There's got to be 100 "police interceptor" crow vics being driven by civilians in Dallas. Yuck.

I used to work for a Car Toys and we outfitted a sheriff's F-350 turbo diesel with a hidden light package. Had undercarriage lights and lights behind the grill that flashed red and blue, as well as the LED set-up on the dash and in the rear window. He also had a bully dog (or one of the other diesel tuners) package on it. It would haul ass.

I'm betting that an unmarked Highlander is probably more like a shark - it cruises around and if it can catch you, it will. If you blow by it doing 140, it'll radio in your position to something that CAN catch you.
