I thought they only used those Chevy SUV's, but apperently they use Highlanders also, which are tough to spot. Painted all dark blue, no lights on the roof, it looks just like a regular car. Saw one today pwn a guy on the highway.

Might have been a converted car...you know that get those cars in drug busts or whatnot then turn them into car cops since most people wouldn't expect it. I know in my area there is one department that uses a corvette IIRC.

My local PD has a dodge charger that looks exactly like a normal car.

I want to be a cop so I can arrest people with a Corvette.

That would simply be badass.

And I know what you mean about the cars. We have more unmarked Crown Vics than we do marked, it sucks. Now I think everything white is a freaking cop car, our taxis are Vic's too. :((

A few miles down there's unmarked Chargers, and Mustangs.

Do you have any idea how fucking hard it is to spot a black, unmarked Mustang as a police car?

Yeah, that hard lol.

I've seen mini-vans turned in to cops cars for the purposes of catching speeders. I can only imagine how much that cop must hate having to drive that thing.

Ya there is quite a bit of unamrked chargers here too, although I haven't seen any mustangs. Even the marked ones are pretty hard to spot becuase they paint the front ends black or dark blue, and now with the new LED sirens you can barely notice it, especially at night. Plus my car has the dimming mirrors so once that happens it's really hard to spot. I really don't speed that much anymore :(

Yea I've seen the Corvette cop. He seemed cocky to me. Sitting on the hood with the LIDAR...knowing he doesn't need to be sitting in the car with the motor running to nail your ass....

My friend's dad is a chief of police and he recently confiscated a 2007 magnum with a hemi. He is going to use that as a undercover cop car, and no one will suspect a thing.

Here we have a Corvette, a Charger SRT-8, and now I am seeing Ford's version of the Charger (forget the name currently).

Looks like my city is slowly converting from regular police cruisers to undercover, converted cop cars. I've seen it all now, Corolla, VW Beetle, Highlander, etc. It looks like the police is capping those who speed/break the law whenever people don't see a police cruiser arounnd.

Every single cop car in my local city is either a dark blue stealth undercover mustang, black undercover charger or white charger with very small lights up top that are nearly impossible to see until you are right next to it.

Not all unmarked cruisers in my area have official license plates. The REALLY undercover cars have regular kentucky license places.

In Portland, about an hour North of me, I've seen an unmarked WRX. It was even all tricked out too. Cops are crafty sometimes. *shrugs*

How about obey the law and you won't have a problem? ;)

BTW, there are a bunch of Chevy Impalas around here and you can't tell they are cop cars even if you're parked right next to one. If someone fucks up, suddenly you see lights from behind the grill and in the tinted rear window, but they have plain jane license plates like everyone else.

I spot them by their antennas. That works until they switch to something stealthy.
