40 is enough to do that kinda damage... I love it when people think that they are good drivers. Nobody is "good enough" to avoid mistakes. Not even if your name is Michael Schumacher or Marcus Grunholm. My philosophy on street racing follows that as well. One error and you could cost you or someone else their lives. You were lucky nobody was in the passenger's seat! :Q
Yes, you don't deserve a fast car for quite a while according to the insurance company... on this board I'm preaching to the choir it seems. The Maxima is a very safe car... I know some folks that drive like madmen/women and so far no accidents. But that's a lot of power to throw into fairly irresponsible hands. Buy an Accord or Camry 4cyl.
