There was a warhammer mod for rome total war a while back, not sure how it's doing nowadays but I didn't think it was anything special back then. The actual tabletop games have always been more fun for me than any video game recreation of the universe.

That becomes a problem when you have zero other nerdy friends who might enjoy something like the tabletop games. Hard to find people who enjoy tabletop or would play it on a regular basis.

Any decent sized town (80,000+) I've been to has a warhammer community.

I lived in a Suburban town for senior citizens most of my life 🙂 There was no D&D community to be seen 😀
Warhammer is nowhere near D&D is an understatement. I am an avid pen and paper RPG player and I dislike D&D. Warhammer is a lot more fun, for me at least, because I am also an avid model builder. It incorporates so much into playing, it just is great.Originally posted by: datalink7

Well, Warhammer isn't even close to the same as D&D... though a lot of times where you find one there is the other. But I'd say Warhammer is more prevelant than D&D in a way because it is slightly less "geeky".
