I've done my fair share of insect torture as well...

Flys are the only thing I do that too because they are so dirty... Pull off wings... throw them in an ant hill or somethnig... I've even held them by the legs and stuck them in some water to drown them...

Sprayed wasps with a can of that sprayon, heavy duty engine glue. Their wings got all sticky and they squirmed around before suffocating.

Also one time we put a black widow in a jar of old gas, and it lived for a good half an hour. It formed this little air bubble around its mouth parts. nasty little ah heck.

I normally don't like to torture insects, but I did once by accident. There was this silverfish on my wall, and I squashed half of it. the other half just kept on going. I squashed the rest of it anyway.

Found a black widow spider on our porch a long time ago. I sprayed it with my mom's hair spray for about 30 seconds. It didn't curl up and die or anything, but it immediately turned greyish/white and became very brittle.

We had a small outburst of wolf spiders in our backyard last year. They look pretty cool and make moderately sized webs. I got a big kick out of catching bees, wasps, moths, flies, butterflies, and the like with an old minnow fishing net and then throwing them into the wolf webs and get eaten. Muwhaha....I shall provide my children.

speaking of wolf spiders... what ever happened to that family who moved into their home and found hundreds of spiders coming out ? They were suing the sellers for not disclosing the problem before...

I don't torture insects. If I'm mowing my lawn, and a large grasshopper hops in the way, I wait until it hops out of the path before I continue.

But when I had a turtle, I would feed him live grasshoppers and crickets. I don't consider that torturing. That is a necessity to life.

most interesting when i was little was when you take the legs off a bluebottle fly ( find 'em around food/trash ) making sure to keep the wings intact. Toss it up in the air and watch it fly around in screwy directions until it hits an object hard. Apparently they cant steer very well without legs. Goddamn i hate those things.

One time i was trying to kill a fly with a stick + rubber band ( pull the rubber band back on a stick, aim, and fire ). I thought i missed the fly but it turns out i knocked its head clean off. The body just stood there, i think the front legs were trying to clean the head. Was so weird i left it there for a few days - it would walk around when you poked it.

Wet insect with fluid, get a scalelctrics track.... make insect dance.

Fly in BB gun barrell... shoot against window and enjoy the splatterage.

Shining a light through the back of a small, high speed electric fan at night... watch the onslaught.

Firecrackers + beehive + run like hell.

Feel terrible for having done it.

Apparently many psychopaths are cruel to animals at a young age, as an interesting side note....

omg what I havent I done.. Probably the most "interesting" is as follows...

My father had a Large aircompressor in the garage for his sandblaster. As a curious young boy I used to come up with the strangest uses for stuff -- on this occasion I was brainstorming what I could use this massive amount of force to do. Then it hit me. My BlowGun!

I went out to the backyard and cought about 10-15 medium to large grasshoppers. I put them in a jar. (do you see where this is going yet? Well Probably not) I then decided to conduct experiments. haha

1st experiment: Lets see how big of a splat on the inside of the garage door a grasshopper being shot out of a blow gun with a large aircompressor could make! :) Yes, they can make pretty good splat. Secondly I wanted to analyze what it looked like when a bug hit the cars windshield (from the outside of course). Well this of course was a lot of fun, and man those grasshoppers were MOVING before splatting. So I called my little brother out in the garage and shot him with a grasshopper a couple times, and then he shot me with on. We quickly ran out of grasshoppers so we kept going out and finding more and more and more. After about 2 hours of doing this our entire garage (inside of the garage door, the cars, and all the other "random" garage stuff") was COVERED in grasshopper bits.

When my dad came out and saw what we were doing he was PISSED hahaha.. I mean there was grasshopper bits on EVERYTHING. We had to spend the next whole day cleaning out the garage and the cars.

Sorry Mr. Grasshopper. :(

Ok I just remembered another one.. One time (as a kid of course) I cought a Wasp in a "jelly" jar. I devised an evil plan to punch a small hole into the lid and began filling it with water. I watched as the wasp tried to stay out of the water until finally it drowned. :( Damn I was an evil kid.

:( sorry mr. wasp
