Remember when a whole flock of (R) legislators heaped praise on a (D) Governor and President?

It only took a 200 mile long path of death to get them to do it though.

Honestly. Fuck Kentucky. Rand Paul voted against Sandy relief which affected my area, among other GQP senators. Until Trump, I would have always said let's help the people of Kentucky out without hesitation. No second thoughts.

However that state and area has shown us they support shitty people in both their senators and president. Politicians that are anti supporting other states when they are hutring and are overall anti democracy. Horrific unforgivable people and policies.

So eat shit Kentucky.

I am disappointed in Biden for helping these traitors out. Fuck that guy. These Neanderthals will never learn if we use kid gloves on them.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, alright.

@DaaQ & @Shamrock - We got hammered here in NE Bullitt county. Just 3 pickup loads of limbs and branches from my yard though. 6 strings of gutter icicle lights were ripped down.

The Bowling Green Massacre may have finally happened. Reports of an EF3 in that area also.

Mayfield could be an EF5 which apparently would be the first in several years.

There is a part of me that is horrified and wants to help in any way I can (and has already donated.)

And another part of me that thinks Senate Dems need to leverage the shit out of this somehow and attach disaster relief funds to Voting Rights, social spending, cabinet/judiciary appointments and every other thing Mitch McConnell has screwed us on.

You donated? You are just rewarding them.

I gave them my thoughts and prayers.

What Biden is doing here, it is the right thing. On a federal level I understand the need to do better then them. Otherwise it just turns into using the government as a weapon against each other.

But what the government is should do, and what I am willing to personally do are separate things.

These people do everything in their power to turn my life into a living hell every chance they can. Let them all wallow in hell they created.

Thoughts and prayers to the non Trumpers there.

To the Trumpers, whatever. You are literally trying to overthrow whatever things are good about this country, including the validity of my fucking vote. So I really don't care, thanks.

Fuck that. Federal funding only if one condition is met: Every red state Senator voting yes for this relief but that voted no for similar blue state relief needs to publicly apologize and resign.

It was pretty freaking unnerving, EMA BCS screeched out over my work cell phone at around 4am, it was thunder and lightning along with monsoon rains coming down.

The scariest part is I have a tree that leans towards end of my house and would crush the corner of my bedroom if it fell.
Just last weekend, the storms that came through knocked several large branches off at around 1am and sounded like roof was going to cave in. Fortunately we have a metal roof. Happened another 2 times before the storms passed. Needless to say I didn't sleep from 1am onwards, and had to work at 8am.

Thankfully no tornadoes in our county, but plenty of power outages, which caused internet outages. Got them all back up before 5pm. The electric company did a hell of a job too.
Just so you know, the metal in your metal roof is more for a long lasting durable cover, not for structural reinforcement. an 80ft pine fell on my roof via hurricane Irma and punched through it easily, trees are extremely heavy and a falling tree is a lot of energy getting released.

Interesting, watching Fox news poised out there in front of that destroyed nursing home pretending to be all concerned about the deaths. Yet never a concern about those nursing home covid deaths as Fox, Tucker and Hannity preached to their viewers not to get vaccinated and never to wear masks. Tornadoes bad, covid threats to old people in nursing homes, good. Fox should just change their name to the Fox Hypocrisy channel.

Then as I typed, i wondered who really cares about Fox news? Even their own are leaving in droves. And then, apparently Fox couldn't stand their own hypocrisy as they turned away from tornadoes to blaming Biden for the rise in national violence. That good old Fox Hypocrisy channel.

I just heard something that made me sick to my stomach. The candle factory ordered their people to stay at work after the tornado warning issued.

I'm sure more will come out about this. Interview with a worker.

"Stay at work" and "Stay and work" are two different things.... it's possible the employer had a good faith hope that keeping people in a commercial building would have been better than having them try and drive home or go to a house without a proper shelter.

I'm not going to jump on that headline until I know more.

Anyone who knows anything about building structures and tornadoes knows places like warehouses are not safe for the same reason as a school gym. Too much open space absent supporting structures.

There is confirmation people were still working. I'm sure more will shake out about this.
Why did employees at Kentucky factory keep making candles on night of devastating tornado? (msn.com)

I've been through three myself. Had coworkers lose their house in this one almost 8 years ago.

This was another eerie mid-November tornado that you just don't expect.

One of the worst things you can do is be on the road if it hits. I've been in a small midwest town with tornado sirens going off and at work. My boss would get us all down to the basement instead of letting us drive home.

Building wise, I don't know much about where they worked. There's not much out there that can withstand an F5. Hurricanes are one thing. F5's are an entirely different beast. They can be twice as powerful as the most powerful hurricane. And the twisting motion is just something you have the see the aftermath of to understand the destructive nature.

Alex Jones says the tornados the other day were created by a Biden "weather weapon".

https://www.mediamatters.org/alex-j...eather-weapons-create-tornadoes-killed-scores

What I'm wondering is how did Biden get ahold of these weapons that Trump didn’t have access to them when he was POTUS? I'm assuming The Weather Force was entirely anti-Trump. Hell, Trump himself had to push back on them when they provided a map of a projected hurricane path that Trump knew was wrong. That's why Trump created Space Force: to fight the Deep Weather Underground!..

This whole time I’ve just been assuming it was God’s wrath on Missouri Illinois and Kentucky? ... So ...Is Joe Biden is doing God’s Work?

I'm feeling really generous tonight. More thoughts and prayers to the Trumpies affected by the tornados. You know the ones that want to destroy a democratic society and vote for a Senator that wants to deny aid to blue regions during major disasters. So many thoughts and prayers I don't know what to do with them.

Expect more of them, here in central FL if will get to 80 today, will need to use AC this afternoon, IN DECEMBER!, this winter is following a pattern I've noticed the last 10 years, milder and milder winters than ever, been here 43 years so I remember what December used to bring.
