They actually remind me of the "granules" on the surface of the sun, formed by turbulent motion in the plasma goo at the surface.

haven't had power in reston since yesterday afternoon. My day sucks so far. Had to take a cold shower in the dark, pack all my food in my car and drive it 5 miles to put in my brothers freezer.

All I know is it was freaky. My girl still yells at me for hearing the sirens going off and my ass is outside to look at the weather.

Not that I can blame you for being tempted because it really is cool, but she was right.

I've been through 2 tornado's in my life. Quite the surreal experience.
it's the cleanup and damage that are a bitch.

Hope ya'll get power back soon.

I'm cutting down whats left of some of the trees and hauling them to the dump (Hopefully before the Cardinals Baseball game starts )

Afterwards, I'm going to see if some of our neighbors need help who lost trees.

Honestly, I think the house will need a power washing. It is just plastered, on all sides, with leaves-- crazy!
