You probably will want to give the 5200 to your gf and keep the 4200.Originally posted by: Soulkeeper

Keep smoking that crack, Devils Advocate, it will make you smart some day. There is one hell of a compelling argument to pick ATi over nVidia this go-round.

Don't be dense. There are no cards for even CLOSE to this amount of money that will even come CLOSE to running DX9. $230> is the price of what feeble DX9 performance currently exists. Anyone who has less than a 9700 will NOT be playing DX9 games like HL2 in DX9, unless it's at 640X480.I have not seen one single review that considers the 5200 (or 5200 Ultra) an acceptable option for those interested in DX9 features.

Who's the dense one? All you did was confirm his post. That the 5200 is not realistically capable of playing a DX9 game despite it's technical ability to do so.Originally posted by: Rollo

Don't worry about Rollo, he's just trolling lately. If you say anything good about an ATI card or bad about any Nvidia card, no matter how true your statement is, he'll flame you.
