Is HDCP real HD? Cuz I've read stuff about true HD and lossless 1080p and stuff like that and having images resized from 480p to 720p and I really don't know wth true HD is anymore. Pardon the ands.

HD 1080p(1920x1080) is the best right now and if you have 1400 dollars to spend on a 24" monitor Samsung 244t is a winner. But i like the 875 dollar price tag on the Dell 2405 so i order it, should be here tomorrow :)

HDCP is a protection that is going to be used in HD-DVD's and Blue-Ray Media so if you want 100% compliant make sure what ever monitor you get has this.. Personly, i'll wait for someone to crack it and/or buy a device that would hopefully end this horror of a protectoin scheme that makes everyone buy new monitor if you want to watch HD-Movies they way they should be seen... BLAH :p

Definetly go for the dell. I have the 24" dell and it beautiful. I would never sacrifice resolution for size. If you really want a 30', get the new dell 30'. It's even higher res than the 24'. But if you can't afford that, stick with the dell 24'. It's the best monitor I've ever used.
