Well I think its funny that the Alfa beat an M3... 😀
Isn't the Alpha a sports car, and the M3 almost a Salon?

Well if you think FWD coupes count as sportscars sure.. 😛

The M3 is a GT... and i think by trying to do everything well... it got a little porky. 😕

The E36 and E30 M3s were closer to being a real sportscar IMHO. 🙂

The M3 as it is today is one of the absolute best cars in the planet for a) drag racing b) handling and c) luxury\style.

Does anyone else think it's exciting that Volvo's s60r is on that list? Does anyone have that episode? I'd love to see it.

Not really, the SR60 was designed to compete with the M3 and S4. It ends up being 4 seconds slower than both of them.

The S60R wasn't designed to compete w/ the M3 and S4, that's just what Volvo says.

I have absolutely no problem with that. It's looks plus it's straight line performance is enough to make me want one. But I'd get an S60R before I'd get an m3.

Man, such a tempting car. Costs about as much as a pretty stripped 911.
