I don't know why but since last week the torrent downloads are really slow, I get 8 kB/s max

I raced a Catherham Super 7 around the Bahrain F1 circuit 6 months ago, never had so much fun

I concur

Should be interesting what they show this coming Sunday from their escapade of Vietnam. Maybe some xic lo racing in Saigon.

Maybe which scooter is the fastest? A race from Hanoi to Saigon against a water buffalo? Maybe we'll get to see the Stig's Vietnamese cousin

Yes, great episode to end the season on. I couldn't even survive the ride in Saigon...wonder how they weren't get killed =)

Did anyone else notice the end credits for the Vietnam episode? Francis Ford May, Francis Ford Clarkson, Francis Ford Hammond, etc. I hope someone else got that little joke besides me!

I got Apocalypse Now, Platoon, Good Morning Vietnam, Full Metal Jacket...What other movie soundtracks did they reference?

And wtf at the lady doing random pink spraypainting lol.

It was an excellent episode. Apparently it should have had the stigs cousin in it too, but they didn't have enough time. I will keep my eye open for the footage.

From Francis Ford Coppola's Wiki (referring to the movie Apocalypse Now:
The UK's 2008 Top Gear special episode, portraying the presenters' epic journey across Vietnam, prepended "Francis Ford" before each name in the rolling credits as a tribute to Coppola's work on this film.

I seriously got a good laugh when Jeremy told May that it wasn't her bike she was spraypainting.

Post it up if you find it. Was there a reference in the episode or did you hear about it
elsewhere?

Oh hot damn, she is very pretty

I liked the scene where they all converted their bikes into boats, nothing like a bit of TG ingenuity. 😀

The Fiesta segment was crazy. I shudder to think how much money they spent doing the mall and beach landing sequences. Truly epic!

I am a few episodes behind and just saw this. WOW. A Corvette drifting indoors next to glass and storefronts without hitting anything, and then they actually hit stuff on purpose. How does Top Gear get people to lend them these things (or do they buy them?)....

I was thinking this was one of the best productions of all time... this mall segment - great camerawork and editing... and then seconds later they are out on a beach driving the Fiesta through water with guns and helos... ridiculous. I love this show.
