Nice.

I want them to get an USDM STi and Evo to compare, though.

All reviews I've seen about the USDM versions give the edge to the evo

mainly for handling and edginess. I wish I could drive the both back to back myself, but until then I'll have to go off of other's heresay, and I've been seeing that the Evo is crisper and more raw than the STi.

Yeah, that's what I've heard too.

But I still want the STi. As he says.. *shrug*. I just prefer the Subie.

That was totally not worth the 2 minutes to download, and totally not worth my bandwidth to mirror it... :disgust:

Yeah, that was my impression as well. Though I haven't been in a STi, I've ridden in a WRX and I've driven an Evo. The Evo just "feels" better... it seems to handle better, turn in better, and gives you a better driving sensation. The WRX feels softer, and it doesn't give you as much confidence.

I can't wait til the Evo RS arrives. It has a different differential, and it's supposed to handle even better. I wish they're stick in the Ralliart's 2.4 and boost it though.

Comparing a stock WRX to an Evo, and then using that comparison to judge the STi... is ridiculous.

The evo 8 isn't an expensive car, it's right on with the STi in price...neither of which are all that costly.

Not to mention, a merciluego makes a 12.0 flat, and an evo 8 can't make faster than that. stock.

But compared to the Murcielago, the Evo costs a fortune! So you're saying that the cheaper Murcielago outperforms the tycoon's Evo? What a bargain!

What? The Murcielago does cost more, yes. That's a given. No matter how you look at it though, the Evo is slower, there are no ifs ands or buts about it. The Murcielago is faster than a Dodge Viper or Corvette Z06. It's also a specialty car, very rare, and very exotically styled. Do you get any of the aforementioned three from the Evo? No. The Evo doesn't even begin to make it into the 12 second quarter miles while the murcielago makes a twelve flat. So I'd say the Lamborghini is a lot faster than the Evo, and it probably handles just as well if not better.

Did you watch the video? They were able to make it around the track in the Evo in less time than the Murcielago took.

DeviousTrap: Thanks for the mirror, fast as always 🙂 Remember the Victoria's Secret Vid? 😉
