When one Olympic Athlete is degrading another Olympic Athlete in the media I think we have the right to think less of her for it. Such is the life of professional athletes. Deal with it.

Because she's an olympic athlete and the games are held as a sign of good will.

It's nice that China wants foreigners not to criticize the human rights record while at the games yet they feel free to sling personal insults.

this is true. its the worst when its coming from high profile atheletes.

what is far worse even, though, is what many other athletes are doing. doping. that is even more classless than verbally trash-talking a competitor, which occurs frequently in professional sports.

think about how shamefully marion jones reflected on the US olympics team. And the countless cyclists in the tour de frace.

all light hearted joking aside with the steroided chicken, etc. doping threatens to destroy the olympics.
