Ha! I've only played 12 of those games. Then again, I haven't owned a console since the Sega Genesis.
 
Didn't you guys read how they ranked the games? It was based on the Reader Reviews for the games. People obviously will review the new games more than the old ones since the Reader Review system didn't exist years ago.
 
A lot of the list didn't make sense. However, I was pleasantly surprised that Panzer Dragoon Saga is listed as #17. Very few people ever got to play it. Without a doubt it is one of the greatest RPG of all time.
 
Pfffttt lame list, X-Com one of the greatest games of all time not even in the top 100? It would be in my top 10.
 
OMG WTF!!!! Mario 64 is #31?!?!?! Pfft it should be in the top 20 at least. Zelda OoT for #2 is ok I guess. I don't even see the original Half-Life on the Gawd Damned list. -_- The top 100 done by the editors was much better.
 
It sucks just listening to you who have seen it. I will not view.

I do think RE4 is awesome tho, just not the BEST GAMEz0R EVAR.
 
That was the lamest top 100 games list I've ever read. Too many SNES and NES games, almost NO PC stuff (maybe none) no genesis stuff and way too many new games. Halo I wasn't a fan of, so I won't comment, but while Rome: Total War rocked, it is FAR too new to be on a top 100 of all time list. Same for Halo 2 and HL2. I'm sorry, but these games really need to sit a couple years to age, before we can be sure, IMO.

how are the titles ranked though! because Wow is 14?! i have it and love it but come ON! when it comes to PC games Unreal Tournament should have been way above WoW and sorry but as for overall fan base, # of copies sold, # of players, etc, Everquest OWNS WoW.

wow those were HORRRRIBLE.......i'm 19 and even though I only played SOME nes I can say that list is absolute B.S. at most!!!!

I would write an entire PhD dissertation on why its crap, but that is a waste of my time. Makes me realize why its been years since I've posted there..

Did you guys complaining about the list skip my post or what? Of course the list isn't accurate.

They used Reader Review score averages to rank them. Obviously old games aren't going to get as many reviews as new games.
