10) ThinkProgress
9) Muslim Student Association
8) CodePINK
7) American Civil Liberties Union, National
6) Family Research Council
5) Center for American Progress
4) League of the South
3) MoveOn.org
2) Universities and Colleges
1) Media Matters for America

Linktacular

I'm surprised to see the FRC listed here, but all the rest are the usual suspects of the extreme right. You can go to the link to see their wanna be justifications.

It's funny to see Media Matters listed as #1, I don't see how printing the exact words that people spout on radio or television is a danger to the country. Unless of course you consider holding people to account for their ridiculous propaganda and lies is dangerous, but I'm sure some will.

From the link this is probably my favorite quote:

"When you and I think about progress, we think about securing our borders, fighting terrorism, and making the Bush tax cuts permanent."

LOL, yeah those are all super progressive issues,

lol.

Just like how they tried to ban the song "Imagine" from the radio airwaves right after 9/11. I love how "Universities and Colleges" are in second place.

Education is always the enemy of those who want to control what we think.

the MSA is part of the most DANGEROUS organizations? You gotta be kidding me. And as a Jew - I can see why he wants MSA up there because he is most likely ridiculously pro Israel. MSA/MSU isn't my cup of tea, BUT each branch at each college is largely run by the elected president who is a student. They run it the way the ultimately choose to. Some MSAs I've seen are more of a social club for networking, and some MSA/MSU are more focused on religion than not.

LOL...now I just read the whole article... and now realized why it is a stupid list. I like this

2) Universities and Colleges
That damned education system teaching our kids stuff like logic, and understanding things outside their bubble! Stop the questioning :D

Well this was my first experience with family matters, and now I have an idea of where to pin them ;)

I'm glad I live in America, where the religious right can spout as much BS as they want and it will not have one iota of an effect on how those groups conduct themselves.

Freedom of speech, freedom of religion(or lack thereof), freedom from the BS of others FTW.

That is why I defend a Secular America. Otherwise we would be no different from a religious theocracy, which is exactly what these sorts of groups want.

Family Security Matters = FSM = Flying Spaghetti Monster. Coincidence? I Think Not!

My take...

League for the South is also right wing.
ThinkProgress, Center for American Progress, Moveon.org, and media matters are just mouthpieces of the democrat party.
Muslim Student Association (and CAIR) are political wings of islamofascists

ACLU is necessary but often biased towards left wing issues (unwilling to defend the entire constitution, just parts it likes).

Code Pink are just moonbats. I recall scanning channels and seeing an interview with a spokesperson who refused to acknowledge that Hezbollah was a terrorist group, or even that they used terrorist tactics.

Many universities and colleges do lean far left, yet somehow they fail to brainwash all who pass through. Going back to the 1800s..."Not to be a republican at 20 is proof of want of heart; to be one at 30 is proof of want of head." François Guizot

The only ones I see as "dangerous" would be the Muslim Student Association and CAIR which was not listed since they are the only ones actively supporting violence.

I agree 100% with the list. There's a couple not added there though. CAIR comes right to mind.

They should have added a caveat about Regent and how other schools should strive to be them.
