My point there pokey is that ALL politicians rack in but tons of money. Your post implied that the Dems were pikers in grubbing for money and that is simply not true.

From 2012:

http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2012/10/22/whos-winning-the-money-race-republicans-or-democrats

They all look like money grubbers.

Hey Sparky, you asked if anyone could rebut any of the OP's points and I rebutted #1, which mentions "politicians" but ONLY mentions Obama and a lame $35,000 per plate fundraiser. Of course politicians are money grubbers, BFD, it's what they have to do in this country to make it. It's the way the system is wired and until that changes, nothing else will. If you look at your link the Republicans are hands down the money grubbingest politicians in American history, and that link is only counting the money each party raised. What is missing is the BIG money that so-called outsiders get to spend freely in support of their party or candidate.

With all of that taken into account, the Dems are mere pikers in the money game. Now fuck off you waste of space.

People get sensitive when they feel their tribe being threatened.

I get sensitive to people spreading propaganda that came from an email, it's called spam and last time I checked spamming the forum was against the rules.
This thread isn't political or a news item and at the very least it should be moved to off topic.

Do you define America as the entire world? Even RT has done pieces on the origins of neoconservatism and they've always defined them as leftists/Trotskyites from the 70s. Even your own fellow AT P&Ner liberal Jhnnnn has stated on numerous times that neoconservatism is a leftist movement that started from communists. Do you believe that if you personally disown neoconservatives that it makes their leftist roots no longer true?

I have *not* stated that neoconservatism is leftist. They are disillusioned leftists, kinda like Hillary is a disillusioned Republican. There's no zealot like a convert. I use the term "Trotskyite" in a deeper context.

What they carried from leftist roots is an evangelical/ missionary/ crusader perspective (Trotsky) & deeply authoritarian attitudes. They are elitists who believe in strong government & what is essentially domination of world affairs in service of the goals & aspirations of that elite. They believe that the masses are there to be manipulated. They believe elective war is a legitimate policy choice. It dovetails perfectly with multinational corporatism.

That's what they're all about.

Don't take it from me- take it from the Godfather-

It's much deeper than the crude & shallow propaganda of the "top 10 list".
