Flame me all you want, I just like APC's music better. They have a better sound in my opinion, and their albums are terrific (Well, maybe except EMotive, I couldn't really get into that one). Tool hasn't released a good album in years.

apc = mercedes
tool = maybach

Great, more craziness for Tool fanboys to rant about.

I have nothing against the band, but they're nothing above average for mid-90s based rock. I like many of their tracks, but there's nothing particularly special about them.

I'm at work so I can't see the whole video, but I think that's parabol/parabola. Just skip to like 4:00 to hear some great music (although the firstr 4:00 is great when you're frying)

Danny Carey alone could destroy most of those 90's bands =P

most popular? type tool in emule and see what most people share. that's the most popular. i think its sober.

but i'd recommend stinkfist, schism, lateralus, and aenema. hell, just get the album aenima. its hard to just recommend one song when this album sounds so damn good.

APC > Tool

yea you = the stupid

Tool is amazing APC is good but nothing coapaired to Tool

especially considering that steaming pile of sh!t that they called their last album

eMotive? I thought it was a great album... their cover of Imagine was eerie. But if you're a warmonger, eMotive is definately not for you.

im not a warmonger i just like music that doesnt sound like ass

When I first heard eMotive, I almost ran my car into a telephone because my hands were busy plugging up my ears. It's a pile of feces, with ONE "decent" cover (Imagine)

The only people that think this know very little about music in the technical sense.

Every member of Tool went to college and majored or minored in Music.

Their music is captivating and twisted. Its pure genius to anyone who knows and listens to a lot of music. The melodies and rythem's they create as a band are some of the best ever made. And they make other bands from their era look like amateurs.

A lot of people just don't get it, and most of those being the people who listen to simple and mainstream music with a simple hook that can reach 90% of the population. Tool is most definetely not that.

Most people didn't understand Mozart's music either, but with time the genius of his work became known to all. And has only grown with time. Mark my words, Tool is another band that will last through the ages, with the likes of the Beetles, Pink Floyd, U2 - Tool will be recognized a lot more for their work later then they ever did when they were creating the music.
