Yes, this is the norm. You may also want to factor in roughly $8~$12 to buy a drink for the stripper of your choice, so that you can ask her for a lapdance. Sometimes you have to do that at busy places.

All-nude strip clubs may cost a little more for certain things, like cover, but in most cases they're alcohol-free, (self-imposed or state-imposed) which is why they are commonly reffered to as Juice Bars. As such they're often 18-and-over, instead of 21-and-over.

Alcohol + full nude = bad things happen. At least in most cases. Strip club operators would just as soon do without the risk.

I have a friend that does the costumes for most of the strip clubs here in denver. Since she gets to get in with no cover i sometimes go with her to keep her company ( her husband and my wife dont mind). But i know exactly the type of guys you are talking about.

personally i dont get much enjoyment from strip clubs. I have more fun sitting in a back corner watching the men and women who are the customers. Its obvious when a new couple comes in, they both look like scared rabbits.

Yep. The strip club in quebec that I went to was all nude, if you don't buy drinks they get pissed. Some of the girls were hot, some were total skanky trash, all of them would fvck you in the back room for couple hundred bucks canadian. I don't think prostitution is legal in canada, but it doesn't look like they enforce it either.

I'll always be to scaried to have sex with or anything else with a skanky hooker nor would I really want too. But, if thats your bag, Canada or Nevada are the places to go.

The clubs of St. Catherine Street were nearly a second home for myself and for my fraternity brothers during college.

But that was a long time ago.

Most of my friends are the same, we hit strip clubs only for bachelor parties because they are a waste of $$$. Realistically, when we go, it's common that only I'll find ONE woman out of 15 or 20 to be attractive. Too tall, too short, too skinny, too fat, etc. It's a matter of taste.

I was at a bachelor party last Saturday night and I only found one stripper in the entire club to be attractive--but she was The Bomb. In as much, when any of the other women were on stage or near me, I could have practically fallen asleep.

Once you've had enough girlfriends and enough experience, strip clubs are no big deal. Until you're married that is, and then it's too late! :laugh:

1) the club's reputation
2) the time of the week

1) you should never have trouble spotting a supermodel-like one in Spearmint Rhino in cali, club cheetah and crazy horse II in Vegas. (or Scores in NY where two guys sue them for overcharing them 25,000 dollars)

2) During the afternoon and before 6 (if anyone goes there that time) strippers are usually not of the top notch quality. They know big timers will hang out between 7 pm and midnight. Try a Saturday night in LV and you will think you died and Allah granted you the 72 virgins he promised.

Oh, I forgot to actually respond to OP.

Those guys were probably just trying to get the stripper to get lost/move on to the next schmuck. Like pcmodem said. Strip clubs are a waste of money, and just because the girl is on stage doesn't mean *I* personally want her there. If you keep looking at the girl she's probably going to start grinding on you or something, then you'd be obligated to tip her. Bam! You just ended up tipping a stripper you don't even like.

So they act disinterested because they don't want to tip her/have her rub on them or whatever.
