Actually, I thought they didn't look too bad considering something like 15 years had passed. The whole idea of Chef (and T'pol spilling her guts to him? Come on) was just dumb.

The way Trip ended up dying was just lame too. And to "not show" the charter, speech, etc..

Was it ever revealed who the "bad time guy" from the first season was?

The Enterprise's chef wasn't even supposed to be Riker, it was supposed to be Shatner, which in turn would have been more of a funny cameo than dumb one.:| As for the bad guy, no, they didn't reveal him.

I was very dissapointed. It seems they scrambled to write the last episode, pulling sh!t out of the air and slapping something together. It was an insult to the fine acting of the Enterprise cast. Digging up old corpses like Sirtis and Frakes. Bah!

Well, at least there is still BG and SG1/A on SciFi.

They didn't even have the decency to show the signing of the charter or a speech by Archer!.
the series finale served as a subplot to an "above average" episode of TNG...
Last scene of a show's finale shouldn't have been a couple of TNG characters leaving an empty holodeck. So Riker had to look to the past to find backbone to do the right thing. bah

First they kill Trip's sister, then his clone, then his daughter, then finally Trip.

That's quite an insight, didn't notice the writers constantly picked on him.
Yeah, being the n-th person to say it, but it was ridiculous how they killed him off..

Yep... wasnt a fan either. I thought it was a good episode but in no way a SERIES finale.

I would have liked to see more interaction between other shows (soong and his genetically engineered people and this was a good start but should have done more). And not having enterprise not even be the star in its own finale was way beyond stupid.

That finale made a hater out of a fan (me). D1AF Star Trek franchise holders.

Edit - D1AF (minus the 1, substitute I) is a censored word?

I've watched every single episode of Enterprise and the last 2 episodes were the weakest... they brought in Picard's "Number One" who is so fat he looks like "Number Two".

Geez, I don't think they could've ended it in a lamer fashion.

I guess it's time to hand in my nerd card and going back to hating all TV...

You think Trip had it bad? Think of poor Kelby, the new engineer. He was brought on and did a terrible job, was replaced by Trip putting his promotion at risk, then he was manipulated by the Orion, eaten by a Gorn, and finally had Reed & Mayweather bust in to his room accusing him of sabotage. He was picked on the whole second half of the season.

The message is clear. Berman and Bragga should leave the Star Trek franchise. Forever. Everything they've done for the past few years has been lame, uninspiring, and inconsistent with Star Trek.

Man, that ending sucked. Berman and Braga should have to hang their heads in shame for that lameness when they could've made it the best. Corporate whores...

Oh well, who am I kidding... Jolene Blalock is the reason I ever watched that nonsense. ;)

Just got to watch it here. It could have been much better WITHOUT Riker and Troy. It was still nice seeing Enterprise D though.

UGH!

Those episodes were awful.

Ok, so Frakes is in the episode... fine... but for god's sake, he played CHEF? Dear lord. At least get Isaac Hayes or some sh1t. Ugh. Just disgusted.

And if you're gonna bring some Next Generation stuff in, you better go out of your damn way to get Picard on board....

eww... that episode just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Did anyone notice in the bald dude in a red uniform talking to people with his back to the camera? It's in the Ten Forward shot after the opening credits. I guess that was supposed to be Picard.

they should have done something with the in the mirror darkly story and somehow tied that into a 5 episode ending instead of wasting the last 3 episodes after those two awesome ones:(

It seems they scrambled to write the last episode, pulling sh!t out of the air and slapping something together.

So true. They should have seen the writing on the wall, including the warnings they had previously received from management, and written a contingency finale.

I couldn't resist:

Riker's gut

Deanna's gut

They probably only had a couple weeks notice to lose weight, but still, an actor should be fit at all times, it's part of their job.

Here's an example of the rush of this finale: None of the writers even bothered to watch the actual TNG episode about the Pegasus. They could have at least given Deanna the same hair style she had in the Pegasus episode:

Deanna's hair in the Enterprise finale: link

Deanna's hair in the TNG Pegasus episode:link

edit: I also just realized her uniform color is different, blue as opposed to aquamarine.

Yes, I noticed they both had gained a lot of weight.

And you could tell they both didn't have quite the same on-screen dynamics as before.

Yeah!!! It's finally over! IMO each successive Star Trek has gotten worse and worse than the one before. It's about time this POS is off the airwaves.

Shatner. Now, *THAT* would have been awsome.

Denny Crane!!
