I agree, but IMO it was written for a future possibility of new Enterprise episodes if another network picks up the series.

This was got to be the sh!tiest Trek Finale, i take that back, season finale for any show EVAR. Plus, what was with the whole mirror universe thing, I thought they would like tie in the mirror universe with Terra Prime, and have some big sick nasty battle for the 3rd to last and 2nd to last eps. And why couldn't they have at least thrown some good ol' time travel into the last ep, like they did on Voy. Like have Riker and Troi come back and PREVENT Trip from dying. I dunno, the whole thing just sucked.

Trip's death was so senseless. Enterprise has been in closer calls than that. There must have been a dozen ways he could have tricked those guys.

There has been some form of Trek on continuously for 18 years, I believe since 1987. There's been once a week Star Trek for most of my life. I am going to miss Enterprise, and Star Trek. :(

And yes, Trip's death was just dumb. I wanted to see like Trip and T'Pol be married with a kid, like they hinted at in Terra Prime.

I hear there's a new Trek movie being released in like 2-3 years MAYBE. It will feature no one seen in shows, and will be written by some one who has never written Trek before. Hmm great idea, is sh!tty unexperienced (w/ Trek) writing waht fvck'd the last movie?

I'm pissed with Paramount right now.

/end rant

That would be SOOO hot, it would kinda be like Andromeda/StarGate and SciFi, haven't seen the finale of that [Andromeda] yet though.

Yep, that was really lame. I don't know if it was the worst ending ever, but, it was very weak. Well it's over, what're you gonna do, start a collection or something to bring it back?

;)

Man these last 2 episodes were weak. Maybe since everyone was losing thier jobs they didn't give a fsck. I can kind of empathize with that :(

Yeah. The ending was a letdown. Somewhat unique, I'll give it that, but boy, instead of a fantastic finale (All Good Things was freakin great) this was more like a slow wet fart.

Finally, and thank God. Fricking 'Enterprise' had no business posing as Star Trek.

Here's hoping we get a real Star Trek series in a few years.

Don't look for one anytime soon. Next ST series may be longer than the gap between TOS and TNG.

How did tng end again?

Q and three generations of NCC-1701-D coming together through that subspace anomoly where Picard is the only constant between the three.

The best episodes of enterprise were the the mirror universe ones.

Terran Empire > The Federation

I laughed at the bad acting of Riker, then I cried at the fact that he was in there at all. That was by far the worst ending of any of the series ever, and the Enterprise actors didn't deserve it. They didn't even have the decency to show the signing of the charter or a speech by Archer!. I'll be back later, I think I'm going to go riot in the streets.

Yes it sucked. The whole blowing himself up thing doesn't even make sence. Archer giving the speech and signing the charter would have been much better.

lol, the series finale served as a subplot to an "above average" episode of TNG...

what's that tell you about the series as a whole :p

What kept annoying me was that Troy looked so much obviously older in the finale than in the original episode that the finale served as a subplot to.

Well, that's kinda because she IS older than she was when that original episode was filmed.

Yeah but it was stupid. When I heard Riker and Troi would be in an episode of Enterprise, I thought it would take place from some point in the future (from the TNG days). I didn't think they would reprise a role they played some 15 years ago. They looked geriatric. Riker had ballooned to three-halves his previous size.
