I'll wait for BSG to end BUT for pulling this nonsense, I will not buy any more DVD releases and not bother to watch any more SciFi shows on TV. My town's library has a great selection of SciFi releases and I'd rather wait for the shows to end up there. I'd also love for cable to adopt an ala carte model so I could cancel their stupid channel and make a small ding in their bottom line. I've been a loyal fan since Season 1 and have gotten over 10 people hooked on the show and this is the respect we get.
i thought the BSG episode that just aired was ok but had too much useless drama in it. Can they just kill off that rosana or whatever her name is already? And all this religion jazz going on with Balter is a joke. This series is turning into garbage with all this useless drama.

great ending, its about time some of the "drama" turned positive for a change!
Baltar.....I want him to die, but then I didn't want him to die. I want to see where his story ends. Is he a prophet? is he some sort of savior? its very interesting story telling.
The cylon civil war...too bad we didn't get more of THAT in this episode.

This 6 month 'break' thing definitely sucks.
I thought the Jesus Baltar preaching to the centurion and the Baltar-Roslin questioning the hybrid scenes were pretty funny.
there's good drama and there's bad drama. Good drama would be the drama of how the cyclon civil war unfolded. Bad drama is the religious junk with baltar, really think it's just space filler to stretch a season worthy of 2 episodes to 10 or so episodes lol.
I can only recall 2 or so episodes that were good in season 4, rest were just blah.

Hmmm, let's inject some drama into this show. Let's have Starbuck acting crazy again! Hey, I know, let's have Starbuck and Apollo finally sleep together but the next morning Starbuck marries the other guy and when they tell Apollo about it have Starbuck give him a look that says, "Are you pissed off at what I just did!". Now that's romantic drama!
Wait, we need some Iraqi Occupation drama in here! I know, let's have the entire fleet discover a new planet and decide to settle down. After only 1 year, everybody feels so safe that the Battlestar Galactica is in skeleton mode and Apollo gets fat and lazy! That seems reasonable, right? After only 1 year when the entire human population almost went extinct from having billions of people to only 27,000? Everybody should feel safe again, right? Then blammo! The Cylons attack and we can have occupation drama!
Wait, we need some religious right drama in there! Let's have an abortion episode where some religious parents don't want their child to have an abortion (for religious reasons) but the child wants to have an abortion! What a dilemma for the ship's doctor! Because, after going from having billions of people to only 27,000 people and traveling in a rag-tag fleet fleeing for their lives, the child doesn't want to have the baby because she still has to finish high school and college and a baby will be too inconvenient.
Wait, we need some worker's right drama. Let's have an episode where the fleet is fleeing from Cylons bent on killing every human but a bunch of people decide it's time to have a strike to improve working conditions because it's not right for Adama to profit from their hard work and they not be compensated fairly.
Let's have some court room drama in there too! Let's have Apollo quit being a pilot and become a lawyer/politician so we can get some interesting political and court room drama in there! Even though they're in the middle of a war for survival and have a pilot shortage, this is great drama!
And let's have Starbuck acting crazy again! We can never have too much of that! Crazy means she's very complex and guys love crazy girls. Let's have her paint on the wall!
Let's have every character do something that makes them unlikable! Let's have Tye kill his wife and whimpers about it every once and awhile but then it turns out he is a Cylon and he impregnates the number 9 prisoner during his interrogations. Let's have Adama explode with inner anger again. Let's have Callie kill Boomer cause she hates skin jobs so much. Let's have the Indian girl kill off Callie by releasing her into space. Let's have that mechanic refer to his wife as a "cow with shallow eyes and smells of cabbage" after she was killed. Great drama is when every character is unlikable! Let's have another boxing episode where the crew can box each other and get rid of some dramatic tension!
I was extremely confused about Baltar's conversation with the Centurion. He seemed to be suggesting that they rebel. Why?
I agree that imagining a single all-controlling "hub" for resurrection was a strange writing error / plot device gone wrong. The original concept of multiple resurrection ships was enough. Oh well.
