If Ali was smart he wouldn't have believed that crap about them kicking over the chair and then shooting.

At least if I was in Ali's position I wouldn't fold based on the fact that I didn't actually see the kid getting killed. They should have shot him sitting up in full view.

b) it is being censored for TV

I'm pretty sure all of us watching realized as soon as they kicked the chair that it was likely gonna be blanks, just like Jack did with Nina in season one.

I felt suspicious too when the chair was kicked over. My BS flag went down though when I heard the resulting screams from Ali's family though. It didn't occur to me that the special ops could've instructed the family to act the whole thing. I love how the show twists like that.🙂
