Then the QA department is clearly useless with how many glitches are in the game and they can't even fix them. Their attempts fail every time. It's a disaster.

The worst part is during the beta it was discovered the server accepts everything from the client without question. It still hasnt been fixed. Bad bad game design that hasnt been addressed since at least Jan, maybe longer.

ya, not real motivated to play as I haven't hit 30 and by default haven't been on board the exploit train yet.

Yup. I wasn't kidding when I said that 1 out of 5 games work for me, the other 4 are wasted time on bad teams, members leaving or missing mission triggers.

Glitching is a lot of work and finishing a mission can take up to 2 hours.
Before I got to know a group I now play regularly with, I would once in a while land in a team that has a combined 100k+ score and it's less than an hour that way.

Glitch will work at least until Monday so those who don't have the gear to do it the legit way, feel free to contact me. It feels good helping casuals get a chance at best in game loot, especially if they don't even stand a chance to do it the legit way.

In case you are interested, prepare this way: Buy all 6 pieces of gear that you can dedicate to skill power, regardless if they boost electronics/skill power or not. If you happen to find gear and mods that have a skill power boost, grab them, even if it's just blue. Recalibrate it all to electronics and keep it all in the inventory. For the first part of the mission, you will need your regular gear, later you switch to electronics. If you don't qualify for challenge mode yet, I can help do the hard mode first.
 
I heard from a friend that he got a TOS reminder from ubi.. lol. Think I'm done with this game right now. They seriously want me to grind to 75/90, farming the same route endlessly for junk, in order to be able to buy 204 weapon plans. C'mon. They should've left the threshold at 30 and allow everyone to be on a lvl playing field in DZ and let them all go at it.
 
I'm taking a break from this one until Massive figures the game out. Ironically I'm starting to play D3 which had the same horrible issues on launch, but at least they finally ironed them out. I guess we'll see if the game dies before then. I don't think they have the luxury of time like blizzard does.
 
Seems buying w/DLC was a bad call...I'll probably sit out for a while until reports of things working properly start to show up.
 
Dont get me wrong its a great game if you have friends to play with.
I can have fun for hours with 4 people running around in the DZ, and getting raped by 1 rouge agent who is 230+ geared tank.

You sit there and laugh because the 4 of us couldnt do anything to that 1 rouge.

However i get annoyed at the hackers who bascially one shot you with RPM hacks, or use Teleport hack to run away after killing you.

Will i stop playing it?
Probably not... i enjoy the game, however the grind is starting to burn me out as you need more mats to craft, and Massive said they didnt like you crafting stuff.
Also the requirement to have to grind to stupid Dark Zone rank 75 to get lvl32 blue prints, or lvl90 to get Valkyre blueprint is absolutely unacceptable.

And that stupid incursion map on challenge, i would like to see a Massive Dev play that map with 180 req gear and actually beat it. Infact if they do that, i'll even buy a season pass, however as incursion is setup, 180req gear score will probably make u fail the hard mode let alone challenge.

I'm not dedicated enough to farm for level 32 gear...I'd rather wait for the level cap to be raised, then just go level up through the story.

I can see it being doable in 180 gear and I think that speaks to the larger issue with gear. Near perfect stats/attributes on a 182 piece is far better than crap stats/attributes on 240 gear. The shear massive amount of RNG available on gear makes ilvl almost meaningless. I have seen 214/240 gear roll less of a main stat (firearms/stamina/electronics) than a 182 piece.

Doing it at 180 would also require a tight knit group of players who have been doing something similar to this for a while now. I have a group of friends that I have played battlefield and raided with in wow for over 10 years now. Very little communication takes place because we know what the others are going to do already.

This however is not the norm by a long stretch and I expect to see most pug groups struggle with hard let alone challenge mode.

Just to be clear - I sincerely hope that you do not think you are a "have" and I am a "have not" because you spend more time playing a video game than I do. And the "catch up" thing you mention is a non-starter, because in games like these, people who dump more time + exploit + bot + whatever simply have more of a chance to get gear.

I saw a video yesterday of someone with about 310k dps, 110k health, 15k electronics, he melts pretty much everything. He opened his inventory to show and he has so many set items that it's clear to everyone that he exploited his way there. If exploiting makes him a "have" and me playing the game without exploiting makes me a "have not" then fine, but I'm not competing against guys like him. He can do 2 man manhunt parties against 7 or 8 people at a time - good for him.

You mentioned Diablo 3 and I quit playing because of the years of botting, and other maphack type things or assists, and all of that on top of the massive advantage it has to simply have a good group of 3 other people in addition to you.

Gone seem to be the days of solo play showing skill - in Everquest in pvp I solo'd, one of the original creators of so-called 'quad kiting', and pvp while doing that was awesome. Here? As soon as I see rogues around me I destroy everything in my inventory in the dark zone and they get a pittance - I'm sometimes killed by level 90 dark zone people in a few shots, and they start screaming with laughter as if either: a) it bothers me (why would it - expected outcome, dz level 28 lol) or b) I've never ganked/been ganked. I mean, glad they have a fun time. Glad exploiters have a fun time. But to equate people obtaining an unfair advantage in a game with "haves" and others as "have nots" is simply farcical.
 
So is this part of the server believing everything the client tells it? That DPS calculation is so buggy in general anyways.

It works on many more talents than just that.

Edit - Ugh can't get link to work on phone, it's a list of talents post on Reddit.

I think they are going to try to patch it today, many report servers are not usable with all the people using it.

I think you should be selling them. Deconstructing gives you fabric, weapon parts and electronics which you need for crafting. But you dont get too many blueprints when you're low level. I did not craft anything till i was level 20. But it is just my opinion.

On another note, did anyone get an apology as soon as you got into the game? something on the lines of "we're sorry you are having trouble with gameplay issues. You have been awarded somethin which you can collect form the rewards vendor."
I choked a little. However money hungry ubi, a direct apology is very sweet of them.

I deconstructed everything. With the changes to how many materials are required to craft now, youll need it. I crafted a few things as i leveled but not much. Rarely bought anything from vendors.

Yeah it's 150 phoenix credits. Worth noting that there is a gs204 aug and m1 for sale at the special vendor in base. M1 isn't really worth it, the aug might be depending on what you have.

the m1 talents suck so yeah you are right, not worth it.

i also got a weapon skin called Red Glitch. wow. I'm floored. it is kinda cool though 🙂

The rewards vendor, go to retrieve and you will see it listed. If you haven't viewed it before, there should be a exclamation mark next to it as you scroll down the list.
