Someone didn't read the District Court ruling. It was about the evidence as well. L2R

From the same article you are quoting...

Judge Barrington D. Parker wrote in the majority opinion. "Our obligation is limited to determining whether the arbitration proceedings and award met the minimum legal standards established by the Labor Management Relations Act."

Does it really matter? So it means he'll go home without playing those first four games and fuck his wife without having to take a shower.

Pats still Superbowl favorites and his contract was re-written so suspension doesn't affect pay (much).
They still win.

The evidence, my dear friend emperus, was destroyed by Tom Brady. Nobody destroys a cell phone during an investigation, regardless of what people tell you (gullible Tom). That is evidence that can be used against you. Brady had to learn the hard way, he didn't cover his ass. That gave Goodell and the courts all the suspicion they needed to suspend him (regardless of whether he's innocent or not). There will be brighter days for Tom when week 5 starts, until then it's all in Prince Aladdin's hands!

lol what evidence? there was no evidence on his phone. you're making up shit now.

"citation needed"

How do you know that?

he's the one claiming there WAS evidence on the phone, that is what citations are needed for. otherwise it's just a strawman argument in that "well there is no proof there was no evidence on it so that means there must be evidence on it."

except there isn't any proof of any evidence on the phone.

The only surprising thing in this entire case is that the first guy went against the NFL.

That's not what you said, you said "there was no evidence on his phone".

That may not be true or could be true, but Brady destroying it and not following the rules cast a shadow on him though.

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the petition is denied.

Suck it up, Pats fans. You can argue until you're blue in the face but Brady lost and will be suspended for shady ass behavior like destroying evidence. Even funnier will be if Brady appeals to the SCOTUS, denial ain't just a river in Egypt.

"Shady-ass behavior" that saw his stats get BETTER in the 2nd half of the game in question?, From the same commissioner who, upon learning balls were being tampered with. (Minnesota) by heating them on the sidelines, only ordered the practice to stop and nothing else?. No, the SCOTUS will not hear this case, it's now officially over but expect the next contract talks to go MUCH differently with the NFLPA next time around and not because Brady has to serve these games, because Goodell has made a name for himself as an epic douchebag and they have a genuine fear THEY will be the next example.

Brady has announced he will not try and appeal his case to the SCOUS and will serve the 4-game suspension. I think it's the best idea anyway, even IF he could get a stay until the court reviews the case it would simply mean the case would not be heard and the stay would now be lifted. Bad idea if that happened in the end of the season or worse, the playoff's. The NFLPA however will press forward with the case and try and get it heard. IMPO they were not concerned during contract negotiations about the commissioner wielding the power he has because previous with commissioner's it was never a problem, it is now and the NFLPA is looking like fools to give away that much power to a lying scumbag.http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/17083595/tom-brady-new-england-patriots-appeal-suspension-supreme-court

Read an article today about the Pats having the fewest turnovers this year and remembered this thread, the discussions surrounding their low turnovers and the "statistics" used to argue that their low turnovers were due to using under inflated balls. Given that the Patriots won the Superbowl last year and are doing amazing this year, can those who tried to say their success was only due to their cheating(using inflated balls) want to admit they were wrong and this whole deflate gate saga was a witch-hunt and attempt to hurt their success? Or do you believe that they are still cheating (using under-inflated balls) and just not getting caught?

I have always hated Tom Brady. I hope he gets run over by an ugly bus so he can experience how the rest of us live. Seriously though how can he be so unbelievably athletically talented, hyper intelligent and so damn good looking. That is so unfair to the rest of us men. He should been restricted to mating with fat ugly women instead of super models. He can keep his under-inflated balls.

I'll give you that he's an incredible athlete and really good looking. But hyper intelligent?

The average intelligence of an NFL qb is extremely high.

For example, Tom Brady has a Wonderlic intelligence score of 33. For context, programmers are around 29 and chemists are 31.

Soo.... he is probably in the top 1% in all three categories.... intelligence, looks and athletic ability (top .00001%). What a fucking prick.

I don't believe that they are currently using deflated balls to cheat, but I am certain that bellicheck has found some other way to push the rules, up to and including actual cheating, to keep winning, and will be discovered when the season is finished. He's great at that. :D

(I actually like Bellicheck)

Sure, but on what pass through this truncated, 12 minute, 50 question "intelligence test." You can find and take this test online. I think it's naieve to believe serious NFL prospects don't practice, practice, practice until their scores are . . . what's the word I'm looking for here? . Ah . . . inflated. A test this short can be gamed through rigorous repetition. Of course, Tom Brady would never do that! ;)

For example, Tom Brady has a Wonderlic intelligence score of 33.

[...]

Top 1%? Hardly! He score was barely in the top half of manly mobile meatheads with arms in 2013 . . . rocket scientists all, I'm sure!

Rating 2013 quarterbacks by their Wonderlic score

- Blaine Gabbert - 42
- Alex Smith - 40
- Eli Manning - 39
- Matt Flynn - 38
- Colin Kaepernick - 38
- Matt Stafford - 38
- Andrew Luck - 37
- Tony Romo - 37
- Sam Bradford - 36
- Christian Ponder - 35
- Aaron Rodgers - 35
- Ryan Tannehill - 34
- Tom Brady - 33
- Matt Ryan - 32
- Matt Schaub - 31
- Phillip Rivers - 30
- Andy Dalton - 29
- Nick Foles - 29, Mike Vick - 20
- Drew Brees - 28
- Kevin Kolb/ EJ Manuel - 28
- Peyton Manning - 28
- Mark Sanchez - 28
- Russell Wilson - 28
- Joe Flacco - 27
- Josh Freeman - 27
- Brandon Weeden - 27
- Jay Cutler - 26
- Carson Palmer - 26
- Ben Roethlisberger - 25
- RGIII - 24
- Cam Newton - 21
- Jake Locker - 20

If you need more proof that these guys intensively game this test through rigorous repetition, just look at the above and then try and tell me with a straight face that most of them have "higher levels of smartness" than a programmer, or that many are seriously smarter than your average chemist.

What a fucking prick.
On this, you, I . . . and especially Giselle agree. :D

Yeah he probably invented gloves that stick better to pigskin that only the Pats have. Some kind of bacon magnatizer or something.

Yep.
The Pats never were cheating. If they were, then so were the Packers, as Aaron Rogers admitted...to having their balls inflated to the max because that's how HE likes it.

They are just better than everyone else. Obviously the PSI in the football makes zero difference to them, so it was, is and should have been a non-issue.
