<< So far, so boring. Theyre all basically the same. And all overpriced.
4 Models with 206mhz strongarms, reflective screens (can we say DUST?), and d-pads in the middle. A few have dual expansion, most have sleeves, a little bluetooth here, a little usb host there, but altogether nothing spectacular.
I was hoping the e-200 would at least have the old button layout, if not the old dust-free screen. Now its just homogenized with the rest.
At least the jornada still has a cover. I guess if I had to choose, I'd go jornada. >>
1) They all are using the ARM chip now. Standardization rocks for PocketPCs. No more chooing MIPS, SH3, ARM
2) For the features they have, of course the price is gonna be high. The iPAQ debuted at $499. These devices have more capibilites, 64MB memory, dual CF slots, all have flash ROM, a new OS, and longer lasting batteries. The 64MB Toshiba Genio with dual slots is $549. Stop complaining about price!!🙂 They will most likely come down (HP is offering a $50 rebate and another $50 to owners of the 548 and 525).
