Details?

The arrest charge I always liked was for resisting arrest. How in the hell can you be arrested solely for resisting arrest?

You must submit to arrest or be subject to arrest. :|

Heh-heh...a friend of mine got 30 days in the county jail for that...way back in the early 70's.

He was too drunk to drive, so he let a friend who was sober drive them home...turns out the friend didn't have a license, and when they got stopped, the friend got a ticket for driving w/o a license...my friend went to jail for allowing an unlicensed person drive his car.

Was law enforcement actually involved or is this just a confession?

That is pretty weak.

with me...its always a safe bet that law enforcement is involved.

I had a good time with the prosecutor and his trainee. The prosecutor reminded me of Harry Stone.

Never had that one but I did have one cop threaten to arrest me for "impersonating a human being".

dude be a parent not a friend.

You posting here about your kid farting in a public place and being proud of it suits you.

Fortunately, you carry a card that certifies your species.

That's the detail I wanted to hear. How does that charge compare with operating a motor vehicle without a license? My guess is they were either trying to help you out, or screw you. If the penalties are the same, then that's just bizarre.

fine is way lower, it saved me $1000 driver responsibility fee and it doesn't keep me from getting my license back. It was a good deal for me.

Congratulations. Do you have an issue with following the laws like 96% of the rest of the population?

Wait, you were convicted of allowing yourself, an unlicensed driver, to drive?

EDIT: Oh, I see. Well that was nice of them.
