I played WoW a while back. I started about 4 months after release.
I enjoyed it, for the most part. The game seemed like MMO training wheels. It was trivially easy. I got to level 20 in one weekend! I was level 40 (rouge) by the end of the month (after I rolled a warrior to 25 and a druid to 20).
I did really like the PvP, and some of the PvE was fun. I liked how I could do alot solo, and really excel in the game. I did enjoy not having to think about much while I played solo. I could sorta do it half ass and it would be no biggie. And the animations were fun.
I have been reading about this battlegrounds thing, and thought I might give it a try. But I still cant switch my mindset from EQ2 (50 guardian) to WoW style of play. Also, the honor system MAY make it better (although I liked nothing more then pwning some level 20 zone as a level 30-40).
What do you think? Should I give it another shot? Futhermore, will my charecters still be there? I haven't paid in a long time, the account has been cancled. I would hate to start out at zero again.
