sorry, we all believe the conspiracy theory that he tried killing himself. we don't buy the official statement.

*Ahem* the official statement was that he tried to kill himself. They don't just make sh*t up in police reports.

They don't make up sh!t on Police Reports? My, my, you are quite the naive one.

You would rather believe a biased "press release" - who's the naive one?

Where did I give an opinion on what I believe? I didn't do that. YOU DID. You gave an opinion that "the police report said x" which obviously implies that what you believe. I don't believe in anything yet. It is possible TO tried to kill himself, got attacked by monkeys, likes to get fvcked up on Opiates, or just wants attention. I don't know yet, but I'm not going to rely on a police report or early media reports to decide what I believe. Tool.

The reason I didn't bother reading the above paragraph.

*yawn*

The reason you didn't bother reading it (even though you did), it because it exposes your stupidity. You jumped all over me for believing one account of what happened, and I simply told you I didn't believe anything yet. You are the one who thinks police reports are 100% accurate. Typical dumbass Philly fan. After you guys miss the playoffs again are you going to cry some more?

Typical case of a big-headed celebrity who always wanted more instead of finding enjoyment in what he did and being happy. This doesn't surprise me. Call me an asshole, but I think it's a valid assessment.

according to your checklist, not many people (athletes, celebs, and regular folks) have a case for any sort of depression or struggle in life....[/quote]

Yup.

Now, we get to see "Your momma" jokes. What's the average IQ or emotional age of an Eagle's fan? 2, maybe 3 years old?

I did read the police report. I did listen to the police statement, as well as the Cowboy's official report, Parcell's press conference, etc.

There has been no statement anywhere that said "Terrell Owens attempted suicide last night", other than media spin.

The Cowboys website brought up a very good point - if he had tried to kill himself, why would he have been released less than 12 hours later?

If anybody actually WANTED to try and commit suicide, they wouldn't overdose on pills. There's such a small chance of dying, that's it clearly a selfish cry for attention. People who are ACTUALLY suicidal will jump off buildings, use a gun, etc. This is what I believe. I think logic backs it up, but I could be wrong.

No that's your mom.

There will be no more of this, or both you and Mill will be out of here.

Why wouldn't he be released? It's not like they're going to keep him for observation. They treated him (induced vomiting) and he was better. And it's not against the law in texas to kill yourself.

Deion Sanders stated on Fox Sports Radio that he had talked with TO on the phone. TO stated that it was all mis-information.

Deion stated that TO was laughing about the whole thing.

They did not induce vomiting that was another media-only story.

According to that article (I'm going out on a limb to assume you didn't read it) the standard procedure is to keep someone for 72 hours for evaluation if it was an attempted suicide.

Dion is TO's friend and TO is invariably full of sh!t. ergo, this is meaningless drivel.

I'd believe a report filed at approximately the time of the event by people with no ax to grind and which the police said shouldn't have been made available for everyone to read before I'd believe any next day, sanitized, backpedaled, spun statement issued by the Cowboys, publicists, or police spokesman.

But... I've seen the adverse effects even small amounts of correctly prescribed medications can have on a person's mental processes. While TO probably said yes, he took the pills and yes, he meant to harm himself, he might also have said yes, he was the Easter Bunny and yes, he had 24 fingers, if he had been asked those questions. The report could be accurate without being correct.

Ok, then what do you make of the following points from the report:

1.According to the police report obtained by WFAA-TV and the Dallas Morning News, Owens took up to 35 painkiller pills.

2. The police report said Owens told paramedics he was depressed and was trying to harm himself.

3.A friend saw Owens take at least two pills and tried to pry the pills from his mouth.

4.She called the paramedics, according to the report.

5.Police asked Owens if he had taken the rest of the prescription and he said , ``Yes."

6.Owens was then asked if he was attempting to harm himself, and he again answered ``Yes.''

perknose just watch the conference

the police report did not SAY he took 35 painkillers, that he was depressed, or that he killed himself. Those were statements made by others.

as for why he said what he said, his response is that he was out of it and didn't know what he was saying.
