NFL or not, football is still his profession. Imagine doing your profession in front if millions and not enjoying it, but not being able to quit because you're so good at it.
He is probably surrounded by people who just want to hang out with him for his money or his fame, but not becaue of him. His relationships are probably very shallow and he is probably unable to start a relationship off on the right foot.
It smacks of the old adage "Be careful of what you ask for, you might get it."
Money, fame and power != happiness.
Hell even Trump, Gates got married and had kids.
When you're that unhappy, you get some help. Go find a therapist. Go camping. Buy some nice cigars and go watch some sunsets. He can afford to buy his own island where he can relax and fly his therapis out too. He's already a goddamn attention whore of the asbolute worst type and now he wants to die? POOR BABY! This guy literally works 6 (even less if you don't count the days of required rest) months of the year and he's SAD???
Some of us actually work for a living and just beacuse we don't enjoy our work doesen't mean we eat a whole bottle of PK's
of course, you're qualified to make such assertions because you've been a professional athlete and you know what kind of lives they lead.
is it that hard to believe that there are a completely different array of stresses, pressures, and anxieties that go along with being a millionaire athlete? even celebrities for that matter. it's funny to me when people assume that because they are rich, they should just suck it up.
i'm not defending TO or suicide in general, for the record.
