It's semi-petering out, but there are still plenty of "low-carb options" being advertised. People just need to get off the fscking couch once in a while.
Wish I had a fscking couch. I'd never get off of it.
I have an extra one in a storage unit. It's yours for the taking. Even has a pretty floral pattern.

You have an extra fscking couch? Why the hell would you put a fscking couch in storage? More fscking couches the better!

Moving from a 2000 sq. ft., 4 BR house to a 1,200 sq. ft. 2BR apartment, one must make sacrifices.

Some hope on the horizon for KK?

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Chief executive officer Scott Livengood was ousted Tuesday as head of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc., the once-trendy chain whose stock price has plummeted amid a federal securities investigation and allegations of padded sales figures. Shares of Krispy Kreme jumped more than 17 percent on the news.

The Winston-Salem company's board of directors said Livengood, who has been criticized for his handling of the company's recent financial problems, would retire as part of a series of "important actions to address the company's current situation." Livengood, 52, who has been at the helm for seven years and led the company's rapid rise, was replaced as CEO by Stephen Cooper, a turnaround specialist who most recently shepherded the Enron Corp. bankruptcy.

Stephen Cooper helped turnaround my company.

You need the help of a professional for this. No not a mercenary but therapist for this addiction.

I actually very rarely eat doughnuts, but I would very much like to have the option to indulge once in a while.

We went to KK last Sunday and it was DEAD. There was no wait in line, the "HOT NOW" sign wasn't lit up and there were like 4 employees.

The apple fritters were tasty.

i don't know that it's a bad thing that people are eating fewer donuts. wasn't there some official report last week that said americans need to eat less crap and start exercising (lord knows how much money was wasted for that pearl of wisdom).

if traffic doesn't suck tomorrow i'll try to stop in at the local KK for a couple of boxes for the dept.

True, but that doesn't mean occasional indulgers such as myself should be punished dammit. If I do 300+ miles a week on my bike, I feel I am more than entitled to a fscking doughnut. :p
