Sure there are a few advantages to the PC version but I wouldn't go so far as to call it the overall most desirable version. I'd take the Xbox One version over PC for the following reasons:
The Xbox One will likely have the largest player base. Everyone having voice chat is a nice plus. It's far easier to record your own game footage on an Xbox One than it is on a PC(and soon live streaming will work better on Xbox One than it does on PC).
There's also the whole "it will always just work" thing you get from playing it on a console vs random issues/bugs/errors PC gaming has(I've read that people still have framerate issues even with SLI 780TI in Ghosts. 64 player 60fps BF4 multiplayer couldn't be a more simple process than it is on the consoles.)
Bingo. I had the choice to put a video card into my new mid-range desktop to enable 1080p gaming for Titan Fall etc and keep my 360, OR spend $500 for an XB1 with Titan Fall. And then I can step up to Ghosts on the One, along with Forza 5 and maybe BF4 at some point too.
It didn't make sense for me to spend $ on something that would eventually need to be replaced just to play new games. And deal with compatibility headaches. Driver issues. Performance hiccups. No thanks!
Ya ya, when it's working properly PC gaming is prettier. We know. Thankfully, this isn't the PC gaming forum.
Moving on....ordered my XB1/TF bundle from NewEgg to avoid tax. It has 3 day shipping and I assume won't ship until Tuesday, so I probably won't play until end of week. Worth it to save the $35 in tax and get a $15 NewEgg GC.
