I really wanted to get an Xbone when this came out. I've been looking forward to this game since it's first reveal. Damn unexpected car issues.

Should be fun for sure. This would actually be my first online oriented FPS game on a console. I've played Halo before but not as much MP as SP/Co-op.

I am buying Xbox One as soon as my tax return comes. There was a long period where I considered PS4, but all my friends were on 360 and the few who have bought next gen are all on the One and Titanfall looks awesome. But all the bitching about PS4 being faster almost swayed me.

This looks like the best next gen game out to date.

You do know that Titanfall is also on 360 as well. I wouldn't buy any console for a single game either way. PS3/360 still have the better games at the moment.

Microsoft have talked EA (money talks the loudest) into putting as little emphasis on the 360 version, complete with 2-week delay and embargo (which is supposed to be closer to the XB1 version than they would like to see), as well as the PC version (which has a much higher resolution/AA anyway).

So?

Just a FWIW. It will be PC > XB1 > 360 of course. But if someone thought they needed an XB1 to play it (easy to do considering the immense focus by MS on the XB1 version), and already had a 360 and friends on 360, it's a way to save $440 for what should be a roughly identical experience in terms of gameplay. Titanfall is another cross-gen game with smallish maps and 6v6. It's mindless fast shooter fun either way.

It should be a day 1 buy for anyone WITH an XB1 given PS4/XB1 titles are really thin right now. As something to buy a system for, meh. I played about an hour of the beta and won't buy it until it's $20 or less on sale someday.

Shit anyone who doesn't have a xbone yet and wants this game needs to buy the bundle and get it over with. I'm having a blast with my xbone and I'm going to buy a ps4 some time this year

I bought and returned an Xbone, but I think with this game coming and being free I may rebuy.

Sure there are a few advantages to the PC version but I wouldn't go so far as to call it the overall most desirable version. I'd take the Xbox One version over PC for the following reasons:

The Xbox One will likely have the largest player base. Everyone having voice chat is a nice plus. It's far easier to record your own game footage on an Xbox One than it is on a PC(and soon live streaming will work better on Xbox One than it does on PC).

There's also the whole "it will always just work" thing you get from playing it on a console vs random issues/bugs/errors PC gaming has(I've read that people still have framerate issues even with SLI 780TI in Ghosts. 64 player 60fps BF4 multiplayer couldn't be a more simple process than it is on the consoles.)

Not only that, but it's not a hard rule like Ark makes it seem. It's subjective. Some people will want one version over another for their own personal reasons.

Whatever system someone purchases it for is not wrong, as long as it serves it's purpose as entertaining. :)

To be fair the live streaming will be easier to do, not necessarily work better.

I imagine this game on PC will be treated like CoD. A few people get it at first and they play it for a while. After a short time (compared to console) the community thins out.

Bingo. I had the choice to put a video card into my new mid-range desktop to enable 1080p gaming for Titan Fall etc and keep my 360, OR spend $500 for an XB1 with Titan Fall. And then I can step up to Ghosts on the One, along with Forza 5 and maybe BF4 at some point too.

It didn't make sense for me to spend $ on something that would eventually need to be replaced just to play new games. And deal with compatibility headaches. Driver issues. Performance hiccups. No thanks!

Ya ya, when it's working properly PC gaming is prettier. We know. Thankfully, this isn't the PC gaming forum.

Moving on....ordered my XB1/TF bundle from NewEgg to avoid tax. It has 3 day shipping and I assume won't ship until Tuesday, so I probably won't play until end of week. Worth it to save the $35 in tax and get a $15 NewEgg GC.

Now that's the truth. I have a hard time with it myself because I don't really enjoy FPS on consoles, but can understand either way. The XB1 version will definitely be the best console version. It will be interesting to see how good the 360 does with it as well.

What is weird is that for a long time they hid who was doing the 360 port of this game. In January they finally said who was doing the port. That doesn't signify a lot of trust in the 360 version.

i'll probably get titanfall but i'm not overly excited about the game. the beta was fun but it didn't give me any itch to run out and buy it.

Seriously. Every thread is about one version being better than the other. Can't wait til console sales are brought into this thread for some idiotic reason. STFU already and play the goddamn game, or ignore it and play something else. Problem solved.
