Nvidia says they are live blogging their GTC keynote which should include the Titan X launch details. There is a Ustream embedded player on the page, so they may be providing a live stream as well:

http://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2015/03/16/live-gtc/

Takes place at 9AM PST, which I believe is normal NDA lift time for Nvidia.

Post up review links if you find them!

Sure, I'll stick this one for a little. :)

Well there be actual Titan X gfx cards to buy in stock in a few hours? Or is this launch just an announcement?

Rumors are that it will be available today. Nvidia has been doing hard launches for a while now.

Found this at OCN

d6dc8eee_titan.jpeg

Main points

- 33% faster than GTX 980
- $1000
- No FP64 DP like the original Titan, straight up gaming card now
- In the same power consumption ballpark as a 780ti

Ok, this is a dealbreaker for me. Just for the fact it will be harder to sell since we now only have 1 market segment for the card. :(

Really a waste of money with none of the prosumer stuff then.....

so Im guessing the regular 9XX versions will be cut down and no full chip Ti like 780 since that would match Titan sans VRAM

If this initial report of it oly being 33% faster than 980 then this is a disappointment. Not a huge disappointment but not small either and gives AMD a much easier target to beat. If this is the full gm200 and it 100% seems to be then this is basically the top NV card for the next year or more.. That in of itself it pretty sad and lame.

And now the circle is complete. GM200 is now a $1,000 price point.

Took the 780 Ti and jacked up the price.

Welps, time to make some hard hitting decisions haha. Ramen for a few weeks? Ramen for a few weeks.

33% more cores, makes sense that it's 33% more performance in average ...

It still should be over 33% in memory limited cases (aka 4K)

The 33% aligns with that stats. 50% more ROP, cores, texture units, but lower clock than the GTX 980. As we know though, OC potential is still up in the air.

Looks like I will just wait.

Depending on how the reviews go, I may just pick up a 980. Half the price... Sad to see FP go. Helped prop up Titan resell. They still go for $600+ on eBay.

It's not that I was expecting more, I wasn't. It's just that being stuck on the same node has stagnated performance. 580 to 780ti was such nice performance jump. 780ti to titan x is a large letdown. That is all.
