Ok, thank you.

It is amazing what an SSD can do to your system. Windows just fires up and it opens up a number of software in a blink. Maya took almost half a minute to load up on my old PC (Q9300,4GB mem etc.)..it takes 3 secs now... unbelievable.

Another convert I see. Excellent. Go forth and spread the word! :awe:

Hehe,. true.

Although I am experiencing a problem at the moment. Evey 60 minutes or so I can hear one of the hard disks rebooting...that typical sound when you restart the system. It starts to do that then the whole system restarts...

I`ve installed the latest chipset, marvel controllers etc drivers but to no result... I am using 2x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Black Sata 6gb/s hard drives.

Don't do that! The FAEX cannot even approach sustained SATA 3Gb/s transfer rates, so using the Marvell controller is just doing more harm than good. The Marvell is way more buggy than the Intel controller.

I thought you solved my problem but it just rebooted again. Although I do sense that after every reboot it takes it longer to do it again..but I dont know what might be the issue...

Could be the drive itself then. Download WD's diagnostic utility and run it. If a problem shows up, you probably want to RMA the drive.

I ran a quick scan but nothing showed up. I`m going to do an Extended one on both drives... hope it won`t restart until it finishes.
