tiny red dot in white portion of my left eye...

what is it? I put on new contacts today thinking it old ones may have been causing any problems. I noticed it last night, and it's still there. Small red dot, in white portion, right under the pupil. It's at the edge of the contact lens, too.

Should I even be wearing contacts right now? Help...

How long has the spot been there, and how long do you wear a set of lenses before tossing them?

It could just be irritation from deposits that built up on your old lenses.

I take em off everyday. Yesterday was an exception, I wore them for 21 hours straight. This was because I had to wake up at 3 AM, drive to college orientation, spend 8 hours there, drive back, etc. It was probably from prolonged usage, I guess?
