Go Putin! Don't mind the asshole american administration.

maybe you'd like to go live in Russia? i'm just sayin', since you are so disappointed with the way things are in this country.

Nah, I'm not a coward. I'm also not a nationalist, though. 🙂

what the hell has JK Rowling done to win a "Person of the Year?"

From what I see something that experts and educators have been spectacularly unsuccessful at doing for the past 20 years or so: Getting kids to read.

Oh dubya, is there anything you can't analyze incorrectly?

ROFL

Saw that same sound bite on TV today. Got a great, big chuckle out of me 🙂

Time's Person Of The Year is not Good Guy Of The Year. It's about the most newsworthy person of the year, good or bad.

Hitler has been person of the year.

Eh? Wouldn't it be better to fix your own country before running off somewhere else?

umm.... no... it wasn't meant to be taken as "America, love it or leave it". i'm just telling him to go to try Russia and maybe we could get a report back on how much better it is there than here with our asshole american administration.

Eh? Canadians put "eh" at the end of sentences. I'm American.

Good thing Time is getting back to its roots on choosing the most influential/worldimpact people, and not just good-willed people in the past 7 years. I thought man of the century, man of 2001, man of 2006 were absolute jokes.

Who the hell chooses Rudy over Osama as the most influential to world events? Who chooses Einstein over Hitler as man of the century as the most influential to world events of the 20th century?

I thought Time became so pussified after 2000.

I don't see the problem with Einstein vs Hitler

Man, I've spent the past couple hours reading bits of this article to keep myself entertained at work. Some interesting stuff in there.
