Then vote Gary Johnson, hes on the ballot. Former Republican Gov of New Mexico who is running under the Libertarian Party title.

Most of you libertarians (I'll be nice) wouldn't vote for Obama anyway, so knock yourself out.

I'm voting for Obama, you should be thrilled the GOP didn't play nice with Paul. There are lots of us who just want to see the GOP burned to the ground.

At least your off the racist rant and rolling with connections now

Some know better then to fall for cult of personality scams. GJ may be a blathering idiot who only knows the CATO/Heritage talking points, but yes, hes probably not a klanner. Progress!

I think the Senate losses caused by the Teanutters scared the crap out of the Republican party so they kept him at arms length.

Paul was never a part of the new Tea Party so that likely was not it even though I agree with them losing because of the crazies. Romney was picked back in 2008, Paul was just that thorn in their side causing them to lose their younger supporters which quite frankly is what I hope ends up costing Romney the election.

My ultimate dream is that after Obama won, it was proven that he lost because of the Liberty vote and the vast majority of youth and independants that came along with it. We will see if it plays out, I just hope the man loses.

If I literally only had the choice between Obama or Romney, I would vote for Obama. But I have the choice to not vote or vote for other candidates and I'm not an uninformed asshole who wants to support our corrupt criminal Federal Government ran by the R's and D's so I'll vote for someone else. Gary Johnson has my support, I am a registered independent and I do not support political parties.

This is the attitude that contributes to the failing of our political system. If all the people bitching about R and D voted 3rd party for a change, and we got a third party candidate into the White House, you can bet your butt that the next election would be a three party election and here on out, it would be a three party election.

I fail to see how forcing the system to have more choices is a bad thing.

Also, the problems most people seem to have with libertarians are no worse than the problems that exist in the Republican and Democratic party.

You may get a new set of problems, usually not any worse than what you leave behind, but there is also a chance you can improve the situation. I suppose though, that most people prefer living with the monster they know vs actually putting effort into trying to force change.

Stockholm Syndrome at it's finest.

IF 3rd party could win I would vote for it depending on the man . But this election 3rd party guy RON paul not running , He is the only one right now could pull it off. But not happening . SO pick your damn poison and live with it . 3rd party vote in THIS election is a retard vote.

I am not going to vote, but if I did, then it would be a write in for dr. Paul. If I had to choose between anyone on the ballot by default, it would be obama because he would support deflation, low spending, very low tax revenue, and he will reverse some of the bad part of his first term. Johnson is just a beltwayarian who sucks at coming up with good solutions.

That said, I dont see obama serving a full second term.

God knew that no one would see this post but I decided to write it anyway.

I prefer Paul to Obama, and I prefer Obama to Romney.

I haven't spent enough time listening to Gary Johnson or any of the other 3rd party guys to know enough about them to support/reject them. Most likely I'd like them just as much as Obama at least, and better than Romney.

Obama's fans and critics seem to largely and willfully ignore that he is largely another Neocon in practice. He's like a more successful, better spoken GWB. There are things that he certainly is not. He's not a socialist. He's basically an acolyte of the hyper-rich wall street people that put him where he is, and he hasn't forgotten that fact. Health Care reform? Nothing more than a collective hand-job to the insurance industry. To hear his critics you'd think he's Satan himself, but the man is just 3.0 in the Bush legacy, whom his critics largely worshipped blindly.

I'm okay with Obama. Romney needs to fail if for no other reason than to force the GOP to kick the wingnuts to the curb. The reason we got Romney, who stands for absolutely nothing at all other than getting elected and probably doing things that only benefit the 1%+ richest americans, is that his opponents were completely fucking insane. Bachmann? Palin? Perry? And so on, who seriously thinks that any of these maniacs and malcontents would be an effective leader, I wouldn't trust any of them with the job of wal-mart greeter.
