Time to outlaw gasoline

We have to do something to protect children from accidentally drinking gasoline.

Maybe someone needs to form a foundation to pressure congress into passing stricter gasoline control laws. Lets call the organization Gasoline Control.

This is what I propose:

1 week waiting period with full background check before buying gasoline
Gasoline has to kept locked inside of a gas safe
Parental control locks on gas cans
No sale of gasoline to anyone under 21 years old
Some kind of law that prohibits stockpiling gas
Only X amount of gasoline can be purchased in a 30 day time period

We also have to do something to prohibit the mentally ill from buying gas

Convicted felons should be prohibited from buying gasoline.

Yes it is sad, I dont know what I would do if my child died the way that kid did.

I have seen kids huffing gasoline to get high off the fumes. I've even been at the gas station and heard people remark that they love the smell of gasoline.

We are so used to inhaling toxic air that it's not too surprising to see solvents being inhaled or consumed.

Gasoline is already taxed (I assume to make $$$ and MAYBE to encourage people to use less gasoline) and in some states, you can't even dispense it yourself.

yea seems weird. Think more it's likely they left gas out and the kid found it and drank it. Though with kids you never know.

I think, that in order to buy super unleaded, you need a class 3 dealers license.

That 91 octane is some dangerous stuff, who know what could happen if it fell into the wrong hands.

Just imagine the horror if some criminal got ahold of 91 octane, there is no telling what they could do.
