Time for Tiger Woods to bend over.

i guess im the only person who really doesn't care and wishes they would stop talking about all of it. its a personal issues and no ones business except their own the media and everyone just needs to let it go and shut the fuck up about it.

So you care more about where people's interests lie?

That sounds far more fvcked up than the public interest in the fall from grace of one of America's greatest sports legends and icons.

Makes me wonder how or if the PGA Tour will handle hecklers. Remember how pissed off Tiger gets at people taking pictures during his swing? Just imagine if someone says "pig" or "cheater" or something else when he's just walking around the course.

Really good point! This guy has trashed his life. He'll never get over this one. The knee was tough I'm sure, but this is a major disaster, no setback. "Cheatah Woods!" I can hear it now. He'll still play, but he'll have to have a tough skin for hecklers.

Want to talk about stupidity? Tiger doesn't actually HAVE 1 billion dollars. The 1 billion is an estimate by Forbes for career earnings. His lifestyle is very expensive and I'm sure his spending is in the multi-millions per year. That's not to say he's not sitting on a huge nest egg, but all the traveling, the houses, the cars, the obvious partying...it does cost something.

Now consider he's going to be paying millions of dollars a year in child support. He'll have a big pay out coming to his (ex)wife. He's lost the majority of his sponsors. He's not going to come out broke, but this isn't a net win and you seem to be the ignorant one here. That's not even getting into the fact that he is going to lose custody of his kids, his public image is destroyed for life....
Yup.

He was famous and banking nearly 100 million per year when he got married. He has every right to protect that income as it is already epected so she signs a prenup to get a small portion which is closer to 20 million (maybe a little more or less) like Zebo said.

We'll never know - He'll pay her well above what's in prenup to STFU. No books, No talking, no discloser of terms. This won't go to court.

You idiots, before this is all blown over, you'll see Tiger wagging his 9 iron on the course again followed by a throng of people with strange curiosity with his theme song playing in the background... Yup, you guessed it, Eyes of the Tiger.

Even if he does NOTHING, he'll make more than any of you make in a year with his one hour of doing nothing.

We all like to judge people once their lives are displayed for us to see, but who are we to judge? Are you perfect? I, for one, don't really give a shit if he fucks around; it's understood that the man did it because he COULD. It's society's fault for idolizing a golfer , albeit a very good one but a golfer nonetheless, and held him to higher standards than it needed to be. Did you expect a golfer to have perfect and expected behaviors? For fuck's sake, the guy whacks a little white ball around into holes on the ground for a living.

Quit making a big deal out of it, infidelity is something made up by women in an attempt to control nature as intended. There's a reason why men reproduce millions and millions of sperm, everyday.

You guys are being silly. Ameicans forgive look at Tyson how many second chances he got. Not to mention you're dealing with the best golfer of all time by an order of magnitude.

The sponsors will be back as soon as this blows over. His name is one of the top brands in the world if the old sponsors don't return there will be dozens more lining up.
I don't think so. This is not blowing over. When it was just that one NY babe on Nov. 30, maybe. Now it's way to big to sweep under the carpet. Tiger's branding capability is trashed.

LOL, you know nothing about people then. Because, I, don't really care what he sells, but it's interesting. I'm sure there are many more like me, actually, Tiger moved up a notch in my mind because before he was just a boring guy that plays golf very well.

He had an affair something every famous and talented male since the beginning of time has done.(some embellishment here but you get the point)

This will blow over. The public forgives affairs because they expect them to happen.

Lets look at the biggest public meltdown ever.....Britney spears. Nothing can top her very public fall from Grace.

Look at her now. Her music has never been crappier and she has never been more loved. All her shows sell out instantly and she gets non-stop radio play. Her brand cannot be taken down and she's down way worse than bangin some hookers.

This will be old news before 2010 is out.

EDIT: I predict he will make a come back when he starts playing again and will be bigger than ever. He has an additional advantage over Britney too. What he did(cheating) is what all his middle aged golf fans and followers do or fantasize about doing.(banging the secretary etc) Guys are expecting Tiger woods 2010 video game and will demand it and will not give a shit about this.

Think about the constrast. Pugilism is a ruffian's sport, a blue collar man's sport. Golf is the sport of gentlemen, the rich, the retired, the genteel. Mike abused his wife, what do you expect? He was the equivalent of a pitbull trained to take out his opponent. Mike bit the ear off an opponent in the ring. In his sport he was a single minded focused aggressor. That's what he was before and after his transgressions. It's what fight fans wanted him to be, in the ring anyway.

Tiger was the best golfer of all time. Right now he's indefinitely out of the sport.

They same hard rocking clan that are banging young hotties behind there crotchety old wives backs. Please tell me you don't buy into this illusion?

And also he is still the best of all time until someone beats him. There is no was until then.

I'm not putting down on Tiger, I'm not judging him. What I'm saying is his endorsement revenue is going to take a tremendous hit. You don't think so? Time will tell.

Maybe, we'll see. Forgive me, but I'm 100% unaware of the nature of the scandals about Britney Spears. Could you elaborate?

His endorsement income revenue will go down, for now. But you'd be a fool to think that he won't come back, ever. Even if the guy goes to a local golf course and play a few rounds there will be a ton of people following him.

Drugs
running around hollywood like a slut with no panties Flashing her twat multiple times
Shaving her head bald
divorce
Mental Hospital
Rehab

Think that about sums it up.

Golf is slightly different, I'll admit, but the fact remains that if you're talented or famous, Americans will forgive you for literally almost anything. If he's still sinking eagles and saying the right things when he comes back, Tiger's going to be completely forgiven within 6 months. At MOST.

I'm looking forward to the stories about the financial aspect of this. Everything I've read indicates she had a pretty strong prenup giving her like maybe 20-30 million, but with Tiger's net worth being somewhere like 30 times that, I bet the judge is just going to throw it out. People who have somehow gotten the idea that divorce courts will actually pay attention to prenups that protect a man's assets at the expense of the woman getting whatever she wants are going to have a very rude awakening. Prenups that are extremely favorable to the guy get thrown out all the time, because they're "not fair" somehow. Usually that infuriates me to no end, but in this case I wouldn't have a problem with it. It's starting to appear Tiger's just as much of an arrogant, ego maniacal scumbag as any other pro athlete.

Huh? What are you saying? Golfers are all banging young hotties behind the backs of their old wives? Gee, I don't know what to make of this.

Tiger being the best of all time, well, I've heard very very little on this score ever. He's often mentioned as one of the greatest, rarely conceded to be the best, although I'm willing to make the concession. However, this concept of him having the crown until someone beats him is rubbish. As long as he's not playing in turnaments, he's not the world's greatest golfer. That concept has no meaning now. Maybe he was, but now he is not.

I expect him to return, I even expect him to take back his number one ranking (which he's going to lose for now), at least for a while. But I don't expect him to make anything like the endorsement income he has enjoyed.

Rich Middle age men(The core golf demographic) are definitely banging there secretaries or at least fantasize about it. My point is he hasn't done anything that won't get sympathy from his core market.
