He's rabidly anti-gun, he supported Obama in 2008 and Forbes refers to him as one of the 25 most influential liberals.
He's a liberal, suck it up.

And you're a retard. You're part of the reason politics is joke in America. Brain dead idiots like yourself treat politics as if it's a sport. "Gotta root for mah team! I don't give a shit what they done!" You don't care that all of these decisions effect all of out lives. All of this is just basically a football game to you. You're that fucking stupid. It's just all about winnin', beatin' them sumbitches!

He is an intellectual, and intellectuals are liberals by conservative's definition. This is because they take an objective view of facts and don't tie their opinions into patriotism, faith, and other abstract ideas. It's the same reason conservatives look at our universities as ultra liberal.

The universities are liberal though

He did this before and got away with it he will this time. It's not like he killed anybody. I like to listen to him from time to time

While it may violate Time's rules as they are a commercial entity who are purporting to be selling an original product, this lifting doesn't violate any intellectual rules. The piece stands on its own quite well -- it's not a transference of FUD, but facts.

404 -- conservative media tactics not found.

Imagine if he was a Conservative then there would be much more outrage over this. typical double standards

Maybe because the conservatives would call it some type of liberal conspiracy against him.

Guy goofed and got caught and there isn't that much more to say. I definitely won't defend him not that I even knew who he was before this thread was posted.

Which is why both the Times and CNN suspended him for plagiarism......because he didn't do it and it was all a conservative plot.

Time magazine and CNN suspended columnist and TV host Fareed Zakaria on Friday after he acknowledged that he plagiarized sections of another writer’s article about gun control.

You're not very good at this "understanding English" thing, are you?

Don't quote me unless you can actually follow what it is I'm saying. That will mostly translate to: "Don't quote me."

Fucking sub-norms. Even more of a trial than norms.

He's only liberal by the standards of today's Republicans.

The party whose candidates you seem to support have moved so far to the right in recent years that yesterday's moderates are liberal by their standards.

The fact is that the ridiculous Republicans of today wouldn't even consider Reagan fit for their party...

Suck on that.

Forbes classified him as such and he didn't dispute it. You can't keep moving goalposts all the time.

Actually, Zakaria did dispute being a liberal. In an interview he described himself as a former "diehard Reaganite" who is now a centrist. He also said that it's not because he's changed but because the right has shifted so dramatically farther to the right since the Reagan days.

But regardless of his ideology, his plagiarism is unprofessional and unacceptable. Time and CNN acted properly in suspending him.

Only a month's suspension? Time doesn't take plagiarism very seriously.

Worse the article was just anti-gun propaganda. Anyone who looks on Wikipedia can see how dishonest it was.

Despite having the most guns in the world, the US is one of the safest countries in the Western Hemisphere.
