Wow, you guys are pathetic. You are all up in arms about how FZ needs to be off the air for espousing liberal views, yet you don't seem to care about plagarism in comparison. This has nothing to do with liberals or conservatives in general, but about laziness. He should rightly be punished for that, and that alone.

This. Also, don't forget how busy the dude is, too. He has a show to write, columns to write and edit, books tpress and reference, interviews to have, etc. all while trying to maintain a life.

To me, it's excusable. Especially the fact that he gave credit to the author of the book. I consider that light plagiarism.

Also, this who are calling him a liberal are idiots who clearly don't read his articles or watch his show. They just don't see him on Fox News, therefore he must be a liberal.

No, plagiarism is never excusable for a journalist. Stealing someones writing and passing it off as your own pretty much destroys any credibility you have as a journalist.

I definitely consider FZ a liberal, but not the Maddow or Schultz (completely insane) kind. FZ seems more like the guy who might hold different opinions than mine but that I could easily have a good conversation with and expect to learn something.

Disappointing all around, CNN & Time did the right thing in suspending him, they should give him the boot.

I wouldn't consider half a paragraph of historical dates and quotes from a book to be plagiarism.

He didn't steal her words he referenced data.
