fuck tebow and manning. jesus it was painful to watch the 55-minute conference with manning talking like a retard. 90+ million to a fucking football player is a joke. then again, this is failmerica.

No one forced you to watch it. You appear to be the retard.

Supposedly down to two teams, Jacksonville and the Jets. Based on all of the Tebow love, surprised only two teams want him and one only wants him as a wild-cat QB.

I'm hoping Tebow ends up in Jax so I can make fun of the die-hard Jaguars fans in my office.

just like baseball has relief pitchers, tebow should be considered in a role of a relief quarterback. if you have a 1 point lead or more with 6 minutes to go, just let tebow and the RB's pound the ball. if you are down by 10 or more in the 4Qtr, just let him do his tebow magic and hope you pull out a win. starters and relief pitchers know their roles. i think a starting qb can appreciate having a relief qb. especially late in the season when many starters' bodies are hurting.

That's more than expected. On espn they were saying he'd probably be released because his trade value is pretty low at this point.

oh, i'm sorry. guess it's the norm to praise athletes that get paid millions of dollars to be in the best shape of their life only to hear them bitch and moan. so you're telling me listening and watching manning talk wasn't painful?

disclaimer: i like watching sports. love watching a good game. played sports all my life.

but fuck praising these people like gods when they act like fucking tools. so, who's the retard?

also, i will say manning seems to be one of the most respectful players out there but it just doesn't sit well with me that athletes are paid that much when we have problems in the economy that are blatantly obvious.

I'm not sure where that has any bearing to the nat'l economy. It obviously isn't bad enough to keep people out of the stadiums, buying concessions, or watching the games on tv and responding to advertisements shown. Payrolls are as high as they are because income generated is as high as it is...what about this 'bad economy'?

i agree about the stadiums being full, etc. hard to stomach someone being paid 90+ million dollars. the MAJORITY of athletes are cry babies that are praised by our nation. that doesn't irritate you???

I'm not irritated because this is the entertainment industry. Even the poor and down-trodden in a bad economy want to be entertained. This is why they continued to play baseball during the world wars. And entertainment can make a sh!tload of money, enabling the top 'entertainers' like manning to make so much. Should everyone just sit back and do nothing but mope because it's a bad economy? Maybe no one should see movies or watch tv either because it's a bad economy, so actors and actresses won't have a chance at making so much money either?...

Or are you suggesting socialism, where any income generated above a certain amount should be rendered and spread out amongst the needy?
