True dat. Trips like these are meticulously planned almost down to the minute. Canceling an event or a meeting or even an informal chat means some people got snubbed in a highly visible way.

Being the US Secretary of State has got to be one of the most exhausting jobs there is. It's impressive that he was the CEO of a huge company like Exxon, but there's no way it required the same amount of stamina as his current job will on some of these trips.
